Maybe it’s OK for DIY, but if you are trying to run a business do not even waste your time coming by this location! They never have anything you need and when they do it’s usually priced 50% higher then you can get it for at Lowe’s or Home Depot just don’t even waste your time pass right by it and hit the Home Depot. It’s only 2 miles further down and you will save yourself 15 minutes.

I love Ace Hardware because it has that hometown feel, unlike the bigger chain stores. The customer experience is much much better, very hands on, always willing to help, and you never have to look far if you need assistance. They are always right there wanting to help. Unfortunately they were remodeling when i was in there last, so things were everywhere, but i was still able to locate what i needed with help from the staff. Thank you for always providing me with a great experience.

I just bought a house and I have a water filter system and it requires salt for it. I have no idea what kind of salt but I took a picture of it hoping someone would help me. I walked into ace and asked the older man at the cash register for some help. He was very annoyed and spoke to me as if I was stupid. I then said I had a picture and he did not look at it and proceeded to show me different sizes of salt and I guessed which one looked the most similar. After that he said there are different kinds that are meant for different harder levels of water. I said I honestly do not know and I asked if it matters. He just about yelled in my face uh yeah if you have really hard water then you are going to need this one over this one. I said I do not know I just got a house then he changed his tune slightly and was like I would start with this one. This experience was so embarrassing for me. There were three people in line behind me and I was embarrassed with him talking to me the way he was. As a female walking into a hardware store I have so much anxiety for this specific reason. I will never go here again. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I will not be talked down to.

Always enjoy going to Ace. There are several in the area and all have great service. Kinda small town family hardware feel.

They have cats in the store that are not trained and will bite and or scratch you. If you’re running a business and have animals in the store they should be trained not to harm your customers. That will be last time I spend my money there.

I am a long time customer at this location. Today I went in and spent 42$ on gardening supplies.
Unfortunately, my car would not start. I Asked both male employees/owner in the store if they had jumper cables if they could give me a jump and they said no, they did not have any.
I then went in and bought jumper cables, and they still would not help me.
Luckily, some nice stranger that I asked for help jumped my car within minutes.
There are gentlemen in this world. Unfortunately not the owners and employees at Ace Hardware on Market Street.

Who doesn’t love going to a good old-fashioned hardware store? And this one has everything you need.
