Anne McCrary Park is a very relaxing and peaceful environment with a beautiful view over the lake. It is a nice and wonderful place to spend time relaxing, watching the wild life, birds, and butterflies. The park features trails around the pond, awesome terrain, and amazing landscaping with many native plants. It is a dog-friendly park where people walk their dogs. There are several picnic tables and places to have picnics under a roof. One area was under construction, but it remains a beautiful area to walk in with a friendly atmosphere.
This is a nice place to sit if you need to clear your head. I've never had anyone bother me at this park and I feel safe there even alone late in the day or on the weekends.
