“I absolutely had the best experience in this store! I had previously went to two other places and just was not very impressed. From the moment I walked in the door I saw beautiful dresses and knew that I was going to find the perfect one for me. The whole process from booking your appointment leading up to finding the perfect dress is so incredibly organized and most importantly magical. My favorite part was being the only bride in the store while trying on different dresses! They truly do their best when giving recommendations and are super patient. I have already been recommending this store to friends who are looking for their perfect dress!”

“My review is in response to what I've seen posted here by D. S. on the same date as I am posting. She gave a one star review that was far from the truth!!! I am not affiliated with The Dressing Room, in ANY WAY. I can respond because I was a customer, IN THE SHOP!! I witnessed her treatment of the owner!!! Ms. D.S. was rude, extremely condescending and had a nasty attitude. She refused to even consider any of the suggestions made by the owner. I'm not sure if she even tried anything on. I have been to this lovely shop, twice, in two years. And TWICE, this awesome shop and the women who work here, helped me find the perfect dresses! First as the other of the bride and today, as a future bride myself! I can tell you this, they know these dresses inside and out. Everything they suggested, fit as they said and made me feel better about shopping alone for a dress. (I'm heavier than I'd like to be and honestly didn't think of find anything to try on!) They allowed me to try on a many as I liked. The seamstress was there to let us know what would or could be adjusted in each dress I tried. There was someone there to grab and hang the dresses as soon as I took them off. The service is TOP NOTCH!!!! The ladies even stayed past closing time!!! They waited for me to return and get the dress I wanted. It was less than an hour after I left!!! Coming in, I didn't think I would find anything, much less FIVE gorgeous dresses to choose from!! However, I went in, knowing I could trust their judgment and help!! I'm so happy. I live in Durham but drove the 2.5 hours to the shop because of my last experience here. The reviewer said she didn't want to try on things that may not be there when she was ready to buy. They happily showed me other dresses they didn't have in my size. They had options on the Ipad and in books. They allowed me to try on colors that I didn't want in order to see the fit and cut. They had the ability to order dresses for me, if they weren't ones which had been discontinued!! I work in the criminal justice field as an investigator. I notice things others may not. My senses are heightened when things feel off or emotions are high. I get paid to pay attention! I recall the reviewer's behavior because she was CRINGY, at best!!! She made me uncomfortable to watch her speak to the owner like she did! Maybe I'm mistaken but, some of her own group looked embarrassed to be with her! She should be embarrassed by her behavior. When I walked in, the shop was buzzing and quite busy. I'm certain a better attitude would've created a better experience for the reviewer. The owner was patient. Far more patient that I would've been if someone came into my business and behaved this way. This is one time a review can be verified as try or not, because I was there! This lovely small business does NOT DESERVE the one star, they were given! I've been to over 20 stores looking for a dress!! I should've started here and saved myself time.”

“Coastal Knot is the best with a great selection of dresses. I went in yesterday with my best friend, mom, and aunt. We all agreed that Kathy our sales associate was AMAZING. She was so kind and patient. Most importantly she wasn’t pushy at all, and it genuinely seemed that she just wanted to help me find the perfect dress. Unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the other blonde lady working while we were there but she was amazing too, and such a great hype woman. HIGHLY recommend coastal knot for a great experience and great dresses!”

“With less than two months to my wedding date Randy helped me find my dream dress! I thought I knew what style I wanted and thanks to Randy she pulled out a fit and flare and as soon as I walked out I instantly fell in love!! The entire experience was amazing from start to finish. Such a wide selection of dresses but I’m so thankful that she knew exactly what the dress for me was!”

“I am writing this review from my fiancée's account.Kimy was wonderful and very attentive. She pulled every dress I wanted to try on. She was awesome!!After going home and pulling up pictures of all the dresses I tried on, I fell in love with a different dress. My mom and I raced back to David's Bridal in the early evening and Kimmi was already gone. I started panicking and telling Joslyn and Kylynn that I think I made a mistake and picked the wrong dress. They instantly reassured me that everything is going to be OK. They pulled my original dress and the one I loved more. They took their time and let me try the dresses on more than once and then they put on a veil and I knew I had to switch dresses. They made this experience of panic turn into complete joy. I am so happy and cannot wait to pick up my dress. Thank you to Kimmi, Josyl and Kylynn. You are all amazing!!”
