I have been a customer for over a decade, and the complete lack of service I've received since the start of 2020 is pathetic at best. The only service I did receive, I was met with attitude and condescending tones. This branch does not care about their customers on a human level, and only cares about enforcing their corporate policies. My reasonable requests were met with no offer of a resolution. I will never bank with First Citizens again and I advise you to do the same.

The branch in tega cay, South Carolina is awful. They give a pretense, but they dont care about your time. I called and the woman had an attitude and said she had a customer and she would be with me but it would be a while. I waited for 20 plus minutes just to get a five second response. Don't recommend there service .

Manager hides when customers need help. Rates paid very low and fees charges are very high. Avoid First Citizens Bank. Sign saying “Change to First Citizens the last bank. It is the last bank. The last bank to deposit money. Many customers now closing accounts there.

I don't usually do reviews but the professionalism and knowledge at this particular branch deserves a 10 star rating!!Everyone was so kind and helpful yesterday that I had to take the time to say thank you! You are awesome and I am so glad that I met you!!! Annie and Lauren went out of their way to help and for that I very grateful!!

There was only one person working when I went in. I asked nicely several times for help and got completely ignored. When she did finally decide to help she was rude and seemed like I was a huge inconvenience to her. She also seemed very incompetent as well. Will never go back to this location.

This bank is horrible and will lie to you at the drop of a hat. Fees are outrageous and if you do not keep a huge balance they treat you horribly!!! I Do Not recommend!!!!!!

Regarding the FCB Carolina Beach location: I will be closing my account at the end of the week. The young lady Laura or Lauren or whatever needs to learn that "the customer is always right" and even when they are not you don't talk over them, tell them they are wrong or that they don't know what they are talking about AND that you should try to satisfy the customer instead of basically not being helpful at all. First of all I have worked in the banking industry so I feel that I do have some knowledge on the subject. Secondly I'm on a very tight income but I have the feeling that if I had a substantial amount of money she would have dealt with me very differently. I refuse to be treated this way and will take my business (small as it may be ) elsewhere. Hopefully where I am treated better.

Our family has done our banking with First Citizens Bank since the 1980's and they have always given us not only highly knowledgeable, professional service but all of their employees from tellers to managers have had the most friendly and personally caring dispositions I've experienced in any bank. My experience has been that they treat you more like a friend than just a customer.
