One of the noisest hotels I have ever stayed in. Stayed there for 3 nights and never got any rest.I swear the walls must be made of cardboard, you can hear someone talking in the room next to you and you can hear every word like they are in your room. You can hear the water running through the pipes in the walls. If you don't stay on the top floor, anyone walking above your room makes a tremendous amount of noise. The first and second night some gentleman decided to make phone calls from 10pm to 2:30am talking loudly and disrupting my sleep. I called him the second night and asked him if he could be quieter. On the 3rd day a family rolled in at 10pm to the room above mine and could not have done a better job of jumping/running back and forth across the room. It was extremely loud and did not end until 4am despite a phone call requesting them to stop.If you are a night owl, have ear plugs, deaf or take drugs to make you sleep than this is the place for you.

Floor 1, tile floor is greasy slick in the room ,and the room smells like mold/mildew. We are here with 20 other people that said their rooms are similar....I spoke w the front desk and they said this is nothing they can do. The $14 breakfast buffet was just ok, but had one waitress that was just rude, no point in tipping because she literally did nothing and made you feel like you were inconveniencing her....most hotels have the same or better food for free. And i can't say I've ever complained about the the coffee at any hotel, but it was like half coffee and half water. We will never come back here.

Not a bad hotel. It was the first time I ever stayed in a room on the first floor and it will definitely be the last. We had some crack head outside of our window looking for stuff in the dirt. We told management and they did take care of it.The only real negative is that there is no free breakfast, not even continental. They did have paid breakfast but it was the same stuff and quality that you would get else where for free. Other than that, the other issues were that the tub and sink faucet kept dripping and was annoying at night and the right half of the TV screen was blue. Luckily I don’t watch much tv while traveling. I didn’t report these issues as I was only staying for the weekend and wasn’t that big of an issue.Other than that the hotel is close to a lot of shops, restaurants, grocery stores, you name it. You can even walk to most of these places, including breakfast shops. Most hotels when you enter the room is smells like cleaning supplies. The garden inn smells like flowers. Great hotel for business travel. Family travel I would probably go elsewhere.

Arrived to find huge roach on carpeted entry area and leftover food near window. It was clearly not vacuumed. There was a funky musty smell. We complained and were given another room, which was much better. The hallway carpeting was pretty worn, trash overflowing, and Ta'ra front desk clerk at check in was by herself juggling multiple tasks. Check out at 6am next day was much better. Jennifer was WONDERFUL and cheerfully asked about us, explained breakfast offerings, and was just happy. I'd suggest going next door to Homewood Suites, which is in much better condition with better staffing and complimentary breakfast. If you stay here, because the other hotel is booked, the best thing is the location, which is walkable to Mayfaire shopping and restaurants.Walkability: Walking distance to shopping and restaurants

Had a terrible experience at this hotel. The lady working at the restaurant was extremely rude, did not end up eating there because of it, the room smelled terrible. Will not be staying at another Hilton.

Hilton used to be highly recommended I paid 190.00 for a room that refrigerator didn't work properly, ice machine didn't work on the floor. Had to go to a different location for ice. Hallways were not vacuumed. Charged 14.00 for breakfast. Ridiculous!!!!! Look somewhere else for a room. I will never stay at a y hilton hotel again!! Very very disappointed!.Rooms: Need attention

Room seriously needs updating as it feels outdated. Only one usb outlet on one side of the bed, wall outlet on the other side requires a long cell cord. Janky side table instead of a decent built in night stand. Curtain was broken so couldn’t let light in to brighten up the dark room. Desk lamp was broken so hung really low. Kitchenette needs to be remolded and looks like something from the 80s. very low tubs need to be replaced with white walk in showers. Rust and dust could easily be seen on numerous items in the room. Various item’s broken or cracked such as the reading lamp on bed side, floor and AC unit. ‘Free’ internet speed only gets 3mbs or you can pay $5 for more. Breakfast is expensive. I paid the same rate per night at a Hampton inn downtown that was updated, free internet with 9mbs, free breakfast, fleshier and cleaner. I will NOT stay here even though it’s close to shopping, dinning and beach.Rooms: Needs updating or an overhaul!

Everything about our stay was fantastic. The property is beautiful, the room was perfect and the service was impeccable. The breakfast staff was attentive and so friendly and the evening bartender Sherry was amazing. Sherry gave us great restaurant recommendations that were spot on. This is now our go to Wilmington hotel.

The service here was great, Tom was very pleasant to talk to and tried his best to make sure our stay here was amazing. The problem was when we got to our room 404. The bed sheets were not the cleanest. The TV was discolored because it was very old. The toilet seats were stained due to being old?. Our stay at Hilon Hotels is always pleasant, but this location was definitely the worst so far. I think that room just needs a few upgrades. If this review helped, please leave me a ?

Wonderful restaurant located in the hotel, was a little pricy for me, had a refrigerator and microwave and across the street from a grocery store so I made food in my room. has a gym and pool. Excellent location and I got free breakfast using Holton points. I loaded up and took it to go for breakfast and lunch.
