“"I won't be happy 'til I see You alone again 'Til I'm home again and feelin' right" (Carole King) Home Again has gorgeous stuff everywhere you look! Whatever room you want to furnish or decorate, I'll bet you a nickel, you'll find something here you'll love. Choose from accent furniture, wall art & mirrors, décor, lamps & lighting, seating, kitchen, dining, office, bedroom and outdoor furniture, jewelry, plants, and more. Most of the inventory is high end, but we found a few hard to beat bargains. We spent just $31 and walked out with a set of two pretty wooden serving plates, a coral art wall hanging, and three distressed white picture frames. We were thrilled with the quality and value of our purchases. An interesting feature of their pricing policy is that just about everything had three prices, so the longer something stays in stock, the lower the price drops. Customer service is phenomenal. We had a wonderful chat with owner Jeannie Bethel, who was a real joy as she talked about her store, where the inventory comes from, and about Wilmington in general. We also had a great experience with Sharon Feiler who rang us up, meticulously wrapped our glass purchases, and chit chatted about the store. If we lived nearby, we'd most definitely be regulars.”

“This is right next door to Blue Moon shops and should be a place on your list to visit. So many amazing artisan items to choose from. They actually had some pumpkins by Luke Adams (have always wanted one) and found one that I just had to have! I found j crew pajamas, vintage gold label Victoria’s Secret (not worth a ton but something I love to find), and a Lucky Brand dress. They had a TON of records.”

There’s good positive music playing it feels like a positive place. There’s things that are really pricey and then there are things that are more moderately priced. “The store has been newly rearranged! I love it. Mostly all of the nautical items have been brought to the left front of the store, the boutique remains in the same right front section. The floral desk and all the supplies are in the middle 2nd building. The majority of the furniture is in the very back. Awesome placement of the different sections with the same great customer service and choices of items!? This is one of my happy places!”

“D Baxter is fantastic. They've repaired lamps for me since 2019, when I started taking them lamps damaged in Hurricane Florence, plus one hurricane-damaged brass chandelier (maybe 50-70 years old), and another lamp just recently. Every single item was meticulously repaired. They explained the problem clearly and made repairs promptly -- no small feat following a natural disaster. All of the lamps were given to me by family members, including my mother, so Baxter's care and attention was invaluable to me. I can't imagine going anywhere else. Prices are very reasonable, too! Thank you, Baxter's, so much. Five stars, A+++. 10 out of 10.”

“My wife wanted a single bowl kitchen sink but the home we bought had double stainless steel In granite countertop. We started our search and from the first conversation it became obvious to me this company was interested in helping even though we were not buying a new granite top. They explained how they work and said they would fits us in. They did and the results were perfect. The crew came on time, got to work cutting out the new space and cleaned up afterwards.”
“I purchased several sets of curtains (many different styles) decorative pillows, chair pads and bedspreads, shams and a dust ruffle. I love the quality of the material used. I’ve had some of my curtains for over 30 years and they still look amazing. I will admit, my last order was a little weird and I didn’t think I would receive my chair pads. Dorothy kept telling me they were almost done, I should be getting them soon, they were shipped........ I kept calling and Dorothy would always answer assuring me I would get them. Finally about 6 months later I received them in the mail and they are beautiful. I need another bedspread, but I don’t know how to contact them. I hope she is still in business.”
