Home Depot on South College rd has missed marked an outdoor patio umbrella from $599 on sale to $399. The teller was so rude and had my wife in tears. I believe I will file legal charges and will most definitely cancel all my business and personal accounts. SHAME ON YOU HOME DEPOT

This is the third time i stood in line at the contractors desk to do a credit card purchase. I waited at least 20 minutes each time while multiple others were taken care of. I would not recommend using the contractors service at all. Not only did it take longer than it should have, the people were not friendly, and acted like they could care less if i was a customer. Three strikes your out. They suck for customer service and basic human skills.

Aug 27, 2022 Military discount was denied bc we didn't have the phone app. Literally!!!!! The female cashier said they could only do the discount if we had the phone app. She called over another woman who said that was correct procedure. I said, "are you saying you will not do a military discount with our ID card in our hand? And she said, "no discount, that's right!" Never go to Home Depot!!!! GO TO LOWE'S.... They know how to treat a 30 year Veteran We walked out leaving our items on the counter. !!!!!!!!! 30 years of service and you are told NO bc you don't travel with your phone glued to your forehead. What a shame that HD has joined the retail industry that has no heart!!!!

Home Depot was great to deal with on College Rd in Wilmington NC for the ordering process BUT is extremely unresponsive/unsupportive with LG on fixing the problem with an expensive refrigerator that arrived completely destroyed!!!!

Home Depot delivered my storm door quickly and efficiently-I ordered it online-It was much easier than the ordeal I went through with Lowe's as they wanted me to come into the store-(why I don't know I explained I didn't want to come in due to COVID-)Nice young man wearing a mask installed the door in record time ,and it looks great!He showed me everything he did and was professional and polite -Good experience!Highly recommended-

Chris - Slicing plywood with precision. Last weekend, in building a kitchen bench and without a table saw at hand, I needed two 4x8 sheets of 3/4 plywood cut to the exact sizes I needed for the base, top and 4 sides. With measurements in hand, Chris cut each piece exactly as requested. Once I got home and started fitting the pieces together, I was pleased that the cuts were even better than I expected. This guy knows what he's doing. Thank you

I purchased a washer and was told in order to have it connected I had to buy new hoses which I did I was not asked how long of hose did I need and since one does not buy washers frequently I didn't realize I needed extra long ones When delivery guys came they said I got the wrong hoses So I said I would connect it But for them stay so I could verify it worked since I had bought a refrigerator from them about a year ago and it didn't work took weeks to get that resolved!!! They would not wait although I almost had it connected before the left I asked them to level it and they refused I called spoke to the manager and basically he just said sorry about that and acted like he was going to check out my complaint still waiting to hear back Will not buy another appliance due to lack of customer service

I have to comment about this Home Depot's wonderful telephone service--a type of customer relations service that is deteriorating rapidly. Gone are the days in most retail establishments where a telephone call gets anything more than minimal service (and if you could hear eye rolling you would) and repeated voice mail messages urging you to go the company website. Here's the thing, the people who are most likely to enter a retail store are the same people who prefer to use the telephone rather than a website (yes I mean old people like me). Home Depot referred me to a manufacturer's customer service telephone which probably was not the worst in human history but close--wrong numbers, hang ups, seemingly endless instructions to press yet another option and nearly continuous urging to go the manufacturer's website. I called Home Depot back and tada! the sales associate in appliances took care of contacting the manufacturer for me. Really if manufacturer's don't want to provide telephone service, they need to warn customers in advance that they only provide online customer service and tell those of us who prefer the telephone to buy from someone else. So love Home Depot for their courtesy and helpfulness to all the old telephone hold outs. well done.

It was ridiculous. I purchased 1 panel of fencing. The woman who checked me out said to pull out front and they will load it. I did. Yet, everyone else that came was loaded before me. I even had to move because the arrogant, self conscious people that came after I did made a point of me being in the way. Twice I walked inside and asked for assistance to absolutely no avail. One young man told me that I had to wait because they needed a forklift!!!! For one 4í—8 fence panel!!!!?** I am a 55 year old woman and I could've picked it up and loaded it myself and still have time in my morning!!! Finally, when I was being loaded after being very persistent , the guy had the nerve to say that the contractors got loaded first and it is Saturday(wtf)- obviously don't know about them but I WORK ON SATURDAYS-I was driving a dump truck - (dumbasses)- what did they think I was doing??? Joyriding I guess. My whole simple transaction took more than one hour! If there was a negative 5 stars, I would give it for today's lack of performance.

By far and away the best "big box" home improvement store in Wilmington. I am in there usually 1x a month and have always had a good experience. I had an amazing experience on Saturday night when after undertaking an unplanned bathroom remodel Mary in the tile section asked if I needed help and boy did I! We talked about the tile I had chosen and what I wanted to do, she gave me some great ideas and then asked if I needed any more help. She spent the next hour with me picking out possible paint colors, a bathtub, fixtures and plumbing accessories (shout out to Eddie in Plumbing- also exceptional). Even though those were not Mary's speciality area she went WAY above and beyond and provided a truly exceptional customer experience. Thanks Home Depot, you have gained a customer for life!

I have always been more keen to Home Depot over their competitor and every time I go I'm reminded why. I went on this visit to find an electric power washer and I couldn't find the one I was looking for. I looked for an employee that could help and flagged one down. I have to say he did a great job helping me out, especially since his department was flooring. This guy didn't even miss a step helping me out. He looked at the same place as me and couldn't find one so he scanned and looked in the back. No luck. He saw the next one up and price matched for me. Lucky me. Taking one start away because not enough lanes open but the employees working the ones were friendly and quick! Will be back again soon and so should you!!!
