I am only giving one star because I couldn't leave 0. I bought a new refrigerator. After it was delivered, the ice maker wasn't working right. I called for service and the technician said that the Frigidaire model I bought only makes 4 cubes of ice every 2 hours. Who would ever want that. I went back to Lowe's and they said unless I used a Lowe's credit card, I would have had to return it within 48 hours. I couldn't even get someone out to look at it within 48 hours. Since Montgomery Ward closed years ago, I have bought every appliance I needed at Lowe's. I will never walk into their store again. I will go to Home Depot.

This use to be my favorite place to get things for the house but their service is not like it use to be. I can't find anyone for assistance. I made a complaint and the manager never called me back to find out more about what happened. They have really done a 180 on what they use to be. I go to Home Depot more now and use Lowe's as a backup. Their pricing is still competitive.

Had a really great experience today at Lowe's thanks to Cory in the lumber department. He went out of his way to be helpful and provide outstanding customer service. Even on a crowded Saturday he took the time to custom cut our material and make sure it was exactly what we needed. Thanks again Cory!

Would love to hear back from the owner of this location or corporate on this matter since it is a law violation ?...New Hanover County has a noise ordinance during the 10:00p-7:00a hours but the South College Rd location night shift manager doesn't respect this ordinance and on a nightly bases uses the over head store paging system to communicate with employees versus their walkie-talkie system. Because he chooses to do this, it is projected outside to their back parking lot, loading/storage area and is amplified throughout the neighborhood. The residents of our complex which is next to this store (approximately a football field distance) gets woken up all hours of the night due to pages for Carol or Michael, Tory, Robert "to the front office", "staff meeting on isle 4", along with pages for pallets, etc... This goes on all hours of the night, 12:05 am, 2:17 am, 3:47, 4:06, etc. On multiple occasions we have gone in to make staff aware and even spoken directly with Wes the general store manager but nothing has changed over these last few months. How is this acceptable? Why can't the store simply turn off the outdoor speakers and keep the paging to inside the store? Better yet, just use the walkie-talkies that employees carry? Walmart who is located right next to Lowes DOES stop using their overhead paging system after 10 because they respect the ordinance. Unfortunately Lowes feels that this is something that they are above. How do we get this addressed? Lowes please explain to our community why your business doesn't have to abide by New Hanover County noise ordinance??? I used to only shop here for my home improvement needs but if you can't even respect your neighbors need for peace and quiet to be able to sleep at night without being blasted awake by your use of outdoor over head PA system then why give you my buisness????

We purchased two LG washer/dryer combos and purchased the four year extended warranty. We had an issue with the one unit a little while ago and the repair person came out and fixed it expeditiously.Now we are having an issue with the other unit. My husband first made contact 8/1 and the service person came out on 8/4 (different individual than the last time). Spent maybe 10 minutes here. Ordered a part and when it came in he came back and replaced the part and left. He never checked the machine to make sure it worked. It did not work. We called again and the guy then said he would order another part….that was weeks ago. My husband called and waged a complaint about 2.5 weeks ago. At that time we were told the part would be in that Friday. Then we were told the part didn’t come….At this point I formally request a new repair man. I do NOT want that gentlemen back in my house. And second, I want this fixed expeditiously. As of right now, I will never purchase another appliance from you all. Please rectify this.I wrote the above message on 9/13 to Lowe’s online customer service and still have not received service. I did however receive this automated reply “Thank you for contacting Lowe’s Customer Care.Our team is working diligently to address your message.We value your feedback about what is going well or where we may have fallen short of your expectations.All feedback messages are sent to the appropriate department for review; however, you may not receive a reply. To prevent delays, please do not send multiple inquiries.’So basically their customer service department may or may not bother to reply. Seems about right?!

Worst customer service that I've ever experienced. Went to return a simple product bought a few weeks ago, and was told that they can no longer except returns. Manager was rude and seem not to care at all about the customer. Would recommend avoiding this store.
