I come here quite frequently as I live just down the road. The store is clean and I am easily able to find what I need using their store app. I love that the app tells me exactly what aisle and bay items are located at. Lowes also has their own store credit card and you save 5% every time you use it. Plus, you receive points back and every time you get to 1000 points, you can a $5 credit. Did I mention that if you are a Lowes member you also get free standard shipping with no minimum to your house? If I sound like I'm a big fan, it's because I like saving money.
I do have a problem that they allow people to bring their dogs inside. They even have a sign on the door that says they welcome dogs. It is a hardware store and not a pet store. I have seen people bringing large animals that can be a little intimidating along with animals who are not properly secured or who bark quite loudly. I have also seen animals urinate on the floor. Why should I as a customer have to deal with other people‘s dogs? I don’t know when in society it became acceptable to bring your dog pretty much anywhere.

I've noticed that over the past year products have changed and nor for the best, or products just gone. Also nobody to unlock or help with anything. If it's up high, heavy or locked good luck.

The customer service here is excellent but I truly hate the store layout. For ease of finding products I would recommend go to Western but the customer service again is excellent here, especially in pro services!!

I just wanted to share how much we appreciate your awesome store and the fantastic staff who always make our visits enjoyable. If I could offer a small piece of feedback, it seems like the stock levels in the hardware area were a bit low during our last visit. Additionally, my wife and I have noticed that the back of the building could use a little sprucing up, especially from the highway view. It might help to consider giving the exterior a good pressure wash to enhance the overall appearance. Thank you for all that you do!

Purchased LG dishwasher. It was delivered Friday, day after Thanksgiving at noon. Installed it Sunday afternoon. Bad unit, did not work. Called lowes on Sunday. No answer. Called LG Tech service to ensure install correct and troubleshoot. Called Lowes and visited store on Monday. All Lowes representatives (including Porters Neck appliance manager and Porters Neck store manager) said cannot accept return since 48 hours elapsed between delivery and the time they answered the phone. Buyer beware, Lowe's is not a good place to buy appliances. Oh, they said contact LG for warranty. Did that. Still waiting and washing dishes by hand.
That kind of customer service will eventually show up on their bottom line.

AND Lowe's responded below for me to call them AS IF they would help. SO SORRY they said, we did not talk to you before your 48 HOURS was up on a holiday weekend. So they pretended to offer to help publicly on Google, but did nothing. SCAM ALERT. Lowe's is not a good place to purchase appliances AND Lowe's Porters Neck provides poor customer service wasting my time to call back for the same unsatisfactory message.

I spend tens of thousands of dollars a year at this store as I work in construction. I just had a first today as I attempted to return some items that I purchased earlier this summer. They are in perfect resell condition. I was told they are outside the "90 day" return window (maybe by 10 days or less) and nothing could be done. No store credit, no gift card, nothing. The people working at the front just did the normal "play dumb" and said they can't do anything with the computer. One even tried to make Lowes corporate sound good that they are NYSE fortune 500 company. That only added fuel to the fire because that doesn't help me get back $120 that I guess will now have to be thrown out. Lowes should be looking out for the "little guy" as they are what make Lowes money. They refused to call a manager. Needless to say, unless something is done, I'll be taking my tens of thousands of dollars somewhere else, even if it means I have to go out of my way.

While I enjoyed Logan’s help from Lowe’s, every other experience here has been terrible. I ordered a fence through Lowe’s and they’ve forgotten parts, missed deliveries, lacked communication, and didn’t submit plans for the fence to the installers. When the installers showed up they couldn’t even install that day because they were missing so many parts. I still don’t have the fence even after ordering months ago. Do not recommend for any sort of home project due to how unreliable the company has been. They also absolutely refuse to even discuss any sort of compensation with me for the terrible job done, there wasn’t an issue swiping my card for the full amount months ago though.

This store has become my goto for my home needs. I like that they continue to carry on the Craftsman brand. Prices are good. I use their subscription service for my HVAC filters. I get to use my Lowes Rewards perks close to home.

I recently purchased a $2k Whirlpool refrigerator in June at the Porters Neck Location. 7 weeks later it was not cooling. The repair man quickly came because the inside temperature was at 70 degrees, he stated the compressor went bad on a 7 week old refrigerator. He immediately unplugged the refrigerator to prevent further damage. The compressor replacement part may take up to 4 weeks. After speaking with appliance staff and 2 store managers they informed me the full replacement was only good for up to 30 days, since replacing the refrigerator was out of the replacement window. I have always supported my local Lowe's. In the past I had a $10k expenditure on a house renovation. Never again will they obtain large expenditures/appliances from me! Lowe's is not standing behind their product with customer satisfaction.

UPDATE! After 2 months of going back and forth with the IME dept numerous times, and having to drive 3 hours back and forth to Myrtle Beach to look at the counter top because they wouldn’t send a picture for us to approve the countertop color, BTW Sandy at Thompson Marble was great! We finally went to Lowe’s this morning and got everything straightened out with the help of Thomas and Crystal in the countertop dept . They were great! 6/24/24 Went into Lowe’s to order our new countertop,
Sean in Kitchen Dept was really great! He explained everything he was doing and double checked with us before placing the order. Sean was SUPER nice and helpful! ☺️
