Every employee I have encountered here is beyond friendly and helpful. I go here for checkups and they were nice enough to fit me in for a last minute medical appointment when my allergies were bothering me. Dr. Hendrix is so nice, personable, and efficient.

Dr. Hendrix is friendly, efficient and provides quality care. The entire staff, including Rachel, was friendly and helpful. I was only there 40 minutes for my routine eye exam, which included me being early for my appointment. Thanks all!

They were lovely! Very quick, effecient, on-time, and worked very well with scheduling/reminders which I can appreciate. Grateful to have gone here for my first experience getting prescriptions!

I have to say that I am definitely not one to ever write a post, much less a negative post. But, my family has been going to My Eye Dr (formerly Eye Care) for well over 15 years in Raleigh. Now part timers, we came to this location for the first time and our experience was awful.1) Both my husband and I felt pushed to decide between eye photos or dilation. Since we had just had photos done, we did not feel we needed that done. So, we wanted to opt out. The technician insisted that if we did not do photos that we must do the dilation. We explained that we had to drive afterwards and she said she would 'do it lightly'. Well, the drive home was awful as a result and we were not given glasses to wear. I will say that I do not think this was the technician's fault but the fact that you cannot opt out of a service there and are forced to choose either one or the other did not align and truly caused us to drive home when it was difficult to see.2) The doctor herself was OK.3) After our service, we felt that both people at the front were very pushy. The gentleman in the front seemed disturbed and was quite short and rude when my husband said he was going to buy glasses elsewhere. This is something we have done for years and our My Eye Dr in Raleigh has never been rude about it. I did buy a years supply of contacts and the woman checking me out was also very rude and seemed annoyed when I asked about the insurance plan and guarantee, etc.I was truly saddened because my experience with My Eye Dr has been so positive in the past. Next year, I think I will drive myself back to Raleigh for my check up.

Dr. Hendrix, Nichole and the entire office staff is absolutely phenomenal! Not only do they accommodate your needs for scheduled exam, but they do so in between. Every time I 've had an issue, they handle it as soon as possible in such a caring and professional manner. Thank you for all that each of you do!!!

First appointment with this practice and it was awesome! Dr Hendrix and the young lady who did the initial eye testing were kind, professional and efficient. I was in and out within 30 minutes! I will definitely be going back.

I never make these types of reviews but I certainly wish zero stars was an option. I just got home from an appointment for my son and I and I can honestly say that I have never felt so insulted in my life. After finishing with the nurse we were waiting in the room. A few minutes later the doctor walks in and immediately calls my 11 year old son (who is 100% red/green colorblind and has shown that since he could announce colors) a liar. She not only stated that he was not being truthful, but she was also extremely aggressive about it! She stated that the test that he took was impossible to fail and while I believe that is probably the case, something must've happened to have caused him not to be able to see any of the numbers. Maybe they held up the wrong thing or maybe he could not see as well because the room was dark. It is completely out of my sons character to lie about something like that. I feel terrible that he was berated and made to feel as if he did something wrong and I very much regret not speaking up.To come at a mom and child like that is disgusting and vile and she should not be dealing with patients. I sat there and held it together so I did not explode in front of everyone but I will NEVER EVER step foot in that place again.

Ordered a pair of Sunglasses from the location at the Village at Myrtle Grove and and over a month later, never received the glasses. I was told that it would take a week and that they would also rush the order for me. I would check the order online and it said in process. When I would try to call the store, no one would pick the phone and it it would go a pre-recorded message. Finally I got through and they are telling that FEDEX lost the order. I just cancelled the order and will in the future use another vendor.

Easy peasy annual contact visit. Dr. Hendrix and her staff are wonderful. Kim was the most helpful with using my insurance to full benefit and I am looking forward to my new prescription sunglasses! Would definitely recommend My Eye Dr.
