My Eye Doctor Mayfair is the ABSOLUTE Best! Tony Morton (the General Manager) & his Staff are the Greatest! My Wife and I have trusted these fine people with our Eye Care, Exams, Glasses; etc. for years. A friend of mine had recommended me to see Dr. Brian Jackson, as we needed a Good Eye Doctor. Doctor Jackson has always taken time to be thorough & explain what is going on with our eye situation, and as we have had some issues with our eyes through the years. On one occasion he discovered that I had a torn retina, and they got me into a Retina Specialist in the same day it was discovered; as well as having it repaired that day. When you go in you will see Tony (the General Manager) always working with clients, helping choose eyewear, or helping out at the check-in counter. You see the same friendly staff, as the last time you were there; and the time before that. I don’t know about you but it is comforting to us to see these same people each time we visit. We are always taken care of in a timely fashion, and always feel that they have gave us their complete attention to details. If you need a Good Eye Doctor; with Great Support Staff in the Background We Highly Recommend My Eye Doctor @ Mayfair Wilmington!

Great visit today. Nice technicians and doctor. Cindy was terrific with my glasses - did everything efficiently and adjusted my existing glasses - the first one who’s been able to do this for me!!

Anonymous for my own protection.I have light sensitivity issues that cause severe migraines along with floaters. Krista Roberts was the employee I saw and she wouldn't even address it! When doing the exam for my prescription, the glass fogged up and I was having a hard time with the exam. I said I think the fogging glass is why I can't see a difference and she said ugh, grabbed a towel and wiped it off. I felt like I was a bother, not treated like a patient and completely embarrassed when she said I have to be albino to have light sensitivity problems. Who says that?! Then because I wouldn't buy contacts after being treated like that they tried to charge me $80 for my fitting instead of $55. So I had to go into my VSP account to prove nowhere in the verbiage does it say I have to pay extra. These people are crooks and I'm done with My Eye Dr completely. They don't have trained physicians with appropriate bedside manner and they will upcharge you for everything. Now I've got to find an eye doctor who has the time to address and figure out why I wear sunglasses inside, why I get migraines easily, and why do I have floaters in my vision. I still cannot believe she dismissed my concerns because I do not have albinism. I'm still shocked and feel violated. I would give 0 stars if possible, I've never been treated like this by a physician.

The front desk were polite, pleasent and accommodating but Dr. Amanda Hendrix, with her fake smile was rude, disrespectful and insulting to my 8 year old... my 8 year old! She had his chair too high for him to see and then said he wasn't being truthful when he stated that he couldn't see! She then dilated him and left for over 35 min without an apology upon return. She continued to chastise him and had the audacity to say she was getting frustrated with him without even checking her settings. We went to the office in Monkey Junction and they did test she never even attempted! The Dr there said he was an amazing kid and cooperated well. DO NOT recommend Ms. Hendrix... terrible bedside manner!

I ordered sunglasses and unfortunately had to return them for another pair because they did not fit properly. Tony and Cindy were really helpful and very patient in helping me with the return and finding a new pair that fit much better. My eye exam with Dr. Jackson was also great. Highly recommend!

The workers are great. The General Manager needs more training if he decides to work the floor--either he doesn't know how to apply vision benefits correctly or he tried to overcharge me. If he applied by benefits correctly then he wanted to charge me $395 for lenses??? Have a feeling he forgot to apply my $200 benefits credit but was too proud to admit his mistake even when I questioned the pricing. Drove to this location because it has a large selection of frames and I've never had trouble with my orders until today. Very disappointed.

Kylie helped me at the Mayfaire store. So helpful, sweet, honest and got me what I wanted, after a previous not so good experience at another location.Everyone at Mayfaire made me feel like family and were there to help! ??Smiles were everywhere

Thank you to my PCP, Dr. Robert Johnson for referring me to Dr. Paul Jackson. From the moment you enter, you are greeted with smiles and professionalism. Dr. Jackson’s assistant preformed a thorough preliminary eye exam. As soon as I met with Dr. Jackson, he immediately put me at ease as he preformed a more comprehensive exam. He then discussed his findings and recommendations. My sincere thanks to Dr. Paul Jackson and his entire staff.MelodyA very happy patient.9/19/23

Super helpful staff all the way around. Dr. B was super easy going and helpful with me transitioning into contact lenses. Will definitely be coming back for all my eye care needs and recommend anyone who is thinking of coming here to do so.

Called in regards to scheduling an appointment. Spoke to a rude receptionist who was very unhelpful. I was quoted 260$ for an eye exam. I’ve been coming to My Eye Dr for over 5 years and had great experiences at the Racine location but not the Mayfair one, will not be coming back due to high cost and rude service. I understand inflation and cost to upkeep equipment and staff, but rude staff? Not worth the money

I needed some prescription sunglasses..Lost 1 pair and broke the other..Had my exam in which the technician and eye doctor were exceptional ..Then shopped the sunglasses ..I mentioned that I needed glasses sooner than later but understood that most likely there was no way to rush the order..I wanted Dragons..But I guess they don't have proprietary lens tech anymore..I spend all day outside so good lenses are a priority ..Tried to sell me Maui Jim's first which in my experience have been terrible for Actual movement and activity and the lenses are like butter ..Settled in some Costas..Paid in full after insurance. They ran my card ..Received a call the next day saying that Costa doesn't make a lense for my prescription anymore...This place seems like the sunglass Hut of optometry and honestly there glasses are expensive. Kind of weird that they charged me before even knowing if they could get the glasses...Wasted a good amount of time and now have to find a pair elsewhere..The salesman said that Costa only has one lense type but didn't explain any features unless I asked..didn't mentioned polarization,anti scratch etc. Pretty Lame ..

Dr. Roberts answered all my questions and concerns. I was helped by Asst Gen manager Jason who helped me pick out some new frames for my next pair of glasses with fun colors. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to squeeze me in after being late for my appointment.

Janice is THE BEST!!!! I was in Wilmington visiting family and I forgot to pack spare contacts. Of course since I forgot extras I had one tear. I am a patient of MyEyeDr. where I live and called this location to see if they had any in my prescription strength. Janice answered the phone and was SOOOOO helpful. She saved my vacay. I definitely would be a patient here if I lived in the Wilmington area. When I went to pick my contacts up everyone in the office was so kind and welcoming.
