I can't say enough about Dr Elliott. I have a French bulldog, he has always struggled breathing. I had his nasal passage opened previously at another place but explained to Dr Elliott that I never noticed a difference. This Dr that performed his surgery was a well known doctor and I paid top notch. Dr Elliott took my boy in as if it was her own. She did the surgery on him without even planning on it. He was going in for a tooth extraction but noticed his struggle to breath. He rarely snores now and no longer fights me to go outside. Seeing him be able to enjoy life means the world to me. She has been such a blessing and I will always be so grateful to have met her. Thank you Dr. Elliott and Needham Hospital for always taking such great care over Par! You are all so amazing

I didn't particularly care for this hospital at all -The young woman in front checking me in was rude .-She was not even looking at me , but continued to talk to me at the same time- I had to wait at least an hour if not longer! It was Saturday and they weren't very busy at all! The Vet I saw for my cat was a young man who was not helpful - -It was obvious he didn't care for cats- -My cat is extremely anxious at the Vet, and at one point the Vet looked at the cat telling him to "Stop " ! -(as if that helped) - one young lady in the front offered to carry my cat carrier to the car which was nice- I have a bad back , so I appreciated it so much -That was the only pleasant thing there for me--So --that was my first and last visit to Needham Animal Hospital-

Took my fur baby here today for the first time. It's been so hard getting established as a client with a vet here--most of them were not accepting new patients at all. I felt so lucky that I called here and they told me they would take us in 2 weeks. The staff is so sweet. They answered all of my questions (I had so many--we just moved here from California). Our baby hasn't been able to go to the vet in a few months because of this, and they took such good care of her. She was so nervous at first, but the staff was extremely patient with her. They also explained everything that was going to be on the bill and let me know what to expect. I am so happy I chose to call them when I did! Thank you to all of the staff and our vet Dr. Gentile--we're so grateful for all of you.

I have never had a better experience at a veterinarian office! I have a shy rescue dog, so the vet's office can be difficult for her. The time taken by Nate and Dr. Rowe to make my dog comfortable with them both was amazing. She is more timid with men and was eating treats out of their hands by the end of the visit! I cannot thank Nate and Dr. Rowe enough creating such a positive environment for Rory; this was the best visit my dog has ever had.

I used to like taking my dog to Needham, but after my experience today I will never go back. It was cold and I got tired of waiting on my son who had gone inside with our dog because apparently only one person is allowed in at a time. I was in my car and it was just too cold, so I decided to just stand in their lobby. Well, the receptionist very rudely asked me "What are you doing?" I told her it was too cold for me to wait in the car any longer. It was at least 34 degrees outside and the heater wasn't warming me. Well, the receptionist glared at me and asked, "Don't you have a heater in your car?" Now, that was a very rude thing to say to a customer. She remarked that other customers were coming in and out of the facility. She was obviously ticked off but let me into the waiting area, but nastily pointed to the far corner and told me "Stand over there." Wow, I felt like a prisoner instead of a customer who was about to pay over 200 dollars for my dog's meds and treatment. I had turned my back and looked out the window and I had lowered my mask because due to a medical issue wearing a mask severely interferes with my breathing. I was at a very, very long distance from anyone. In fact, there was no other customers in the waiting area. The staff was behind a big shield and all masked up like good little conformists. One of them saw me and snapped with a very totalitarian indignation "Ma'am, you have to pull your mask up." I could hear her heels clicking from a good distance. I was half expecting them all to strike at the sky with their hands in a salute and say "We must follow orders! We must follow orders." Heck, all I wanted to do was come in from the cold. I was complying with the useless and nonsensical and scientifically proven to be ineffective cloth mask across my face dictatorial decree that all should display obedience. Like I said, I just wanted to come in from the cold. And yes, I do have a heater in my car. But, you know, I think Needham needs to update itself and stop their wait in the car foolishness. This county no longer has a mask mandate. I, personally, am so sick of all this virtue signaling. I wore the dang mask; I also paid nearly 200 dollars for the privilege of being treated extremely rudely by the staff at Needham. They have lost a paying customer. I asked my dog what he thought. He said he is pretty sure he is kinder than the staff at Needham. I hope the staff there learns to be kinder especially to older customers who find it very difficult to stay in a cold car, older customers who might have health concerns that make them more anxious than the young who can tolerate more. As an older person, I was highly insulted by the way that young woman disrespected me. Perhaps one day when she is old and it is a cold day and her bones hurt, she will not be as unfortunate as I have been to have met a very rude young person who lacks compassion. That said, I will find a new vet, one that doesn't expect its customers to wait in the car and doesn't disrespect its customers. I wish the staff luck and hope they learn to be better people.

Super friendly staff, beautiful facilities and multiple doctors available. My buddy Rudy had a abscess break and needed to be seen right away. They fit us in and we're able to do the surgery the same day. Called the following morning to check in as well.

How does one begin to give a top review to a business that helped to put down your most devoted friend? You start by recognizing their compassion, understanding and support. You move on to having a recognition that the illness and outcome were not of their making or fault, nor your own, and that while the end of life decision was one of the most difficult, that you were ending their suffering. While money was never a driving force in this decision, treatment options and costs, including outcomes and quality of life, were discussed respectfully and honestly. I can truly, and honestly, give the highest praise to the Dr and staff.
