We arrived early and were told they didn't open until 16:00. We waited in the parking lot, observing a girl speaking to someone on her cell phone. When we were allowed inside, they released 9 dogs to there owners. It took some time for them to bring our cat out. Then they couldn't find the bedding we had left with our cat. We are observing for additional information.

Omg these people went above and beyond the call of duty for my friend. She took in a turtle that had been run over and it was so sad and pitiful and they accepted him and so she and I prayed. He passed but I still am grateful that he didn't have to die alone. to me they went above and beyond the call of duty and I am forever grateful because that to me that just shows the heart of these people. Thank you for having hearts of gold. God bless you and keep you!!!!

I've been taking my pets to Paws and Claws for around 12 years. I started before they moved to the new place. I love Dr. Sam and rhevother doctors and the staff are amazing. They always take great care of my dog Sadie, and my cat LilMan! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I can’t be more happier to bring my bunny to this place!!! They treat her so well! She comes home and I know she was looked at with care! When I have questions they will be happy to answer and they always help my problems and I feel better after not feeling any sort of regret. So glad to have a place that I can take my bunny to and feel comfortable. I do what ever I can for the love of my life ❤️

They've always been so very kind and friendly, and they don't expect you to spend all your money on your pet. 10 put of 10 would recommend for small animals and exotic Pets, but They seem WONDERFUL with Cats, and Dogs as well. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO!!!

The doctor was amazing with our bearded dragon. We live in Jacksonville. Office is in Wilmington. Worth the trip. Prices were lower than we thought it would be!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Years ago, I had to take my (very old at the time) leopard gecko Geek there when she stopped being able to catch prey and was losing weight quickly. Dr Reinhardt was patient, kind and non-judgemental. She helped get her back on track and she thrived.Years later, just recently, my (now VERY old) gecko started to have neurological symptoms. Dr. Anderson saw us very quickly, and got her sorted out with some medicine. Unfortunately, in the end, we believe she ended up having a brain tumor or lesion and it did not respond to treatment. I did have to let her go after 19 long years. But throughout the process, Dr. Anderson was great. He was concise and informative. Him (along with the receptionists) were all incredibly patient when I called with questions and concerned. At times I was very upset and worried and they were always so calming and nice. And when the end came, he answered all of my questions and it assured me she would be able to pass peacefully and painlessly. It's never easy to lose a pet, especially after 19 years. But they made it so much easier. To top it all off, I requested that, when she passed, they could do an ink footprint for her so I could get it tattooed. After I left I realized that I wasn't specific that I wanted all four of her feet, not just one. But I never had anything to worry about. The technician Sarah took the time to print all four of her little feet, some even more than once. They're perfect, and they're up on my fridge now.It may be a long time before I'm ready to get another reptile. But I know that when I do, they'll be well taken care of. I'm SO GRATEFUL to them and I always will be. Geek's life was markedly better because of Paws and Claws. Their compassion will not be forgotten.

I was worried about taking my conure to a new vet after we moved. Such a good experience, great staff and doctor that did her exam was wonderful! I drove just over an hour, but it was worth it.

I’ve been using Paws and Claws since 2014, when I got my first bearded dragon. Since then, I’ve take every one of my bearded dragons there (all 6) as well as my dog, who is extremely nervous and fearful. They are hands down the best vet office around. My dog isn’t fearful here, and they have helped tremendously with keeping my animals healthy throughout the years. I won’t use anyone else. I drive about an hour to take my animals here. That’s how good they are!!!! Kind, caring, genuine people who love animals.
