Went in with a friend to purchase a fire arm. The lady in the back of the store was very short and blunt. When we asked a question it was only a one word answer from her. Then after about 30 minutes she said she didn't feel comfortable selling me a fire arm. Don't know why, I don't have a back ground, not to mention while she was helping us she stopped and went to help another customer and left us standing.

Overall this store is ok. They have a fairly decent variety of outdoors/hunting equipment, however, their knife selection is absolutely terrible, they do not consistently carry knife brands or styles, seems like they will very randomly carry different knives, as if they are using a dart board to choose what to have available in store, and appearantly the person in charge of that is REALLY BAD AT DARTS. I stopped coming into this location about 9 months ago because they never got any new stock, today I figured I'd try because SURELY in that amount of time they've gotten new stock, but no, not only do they not have any new stock, the few blades they had before have been sold and not even replaced, so as it stands they have some drastically expensive benchmades and about 10 other assorted blades and that's it. Would rather ya'll just not sell knives because the laziness exhibited here is terrible.

This is one of the most racist establishments I've ever been in black people should not buy anything from sportsmans in Wilmington North Carolina we as black people need not to support those who is against us or show racism I was in that store on November the 18th at 3:00 p.m.

Had an absolutely fantastic experience purchasing a new rifle from Travis at the Sportsman’s Warehouse gun counter. Travis mounted my scope and took the time to help familiarize me with it’s adjustments. He was super nice, patient and very knowledgeable (and an Army veteran which was a bonus) and took the time to answer any questions I had as well as helping me select the scope, case and ammunition for my particular needs. This was my first time in a Sportsman’s Warehouse but thanks to Travis it certainly won’t be my last. I like to recognize great people and great customer service when I encounter them so please see to it that Travis is recognized for his incredible service. Thank you Travis!!!

Usually has top brands and quality products that some sporting stores don’t. Good selection of bow hunting items.

Overall the store is great. They have a terrible gun guy Dean ( I think the manager) he has that typical a-hole personalty that makes people not like going into gun stores, as well as absolute no people skills, it’s kind of sad. I’d recommend Jim’s gun or TTT for firearm purchases. They get customer service.

I ordered a gun online on July 14th. Per the emails that I have received the gun has been delivered to the store. When I called to check the progress on my order I was very rudely interrupted by the call taker and informed that if I was not called that the gun is not ready for pick up then was hung up on. Not a way to do business in my opinion. Especially when the last person that I talked to regarding conflicting emails told me that he had tracked the shipment and it would be ready for pick up on the day that I called a second time and was hung up on.Update: still haven’t received a call that the gun I have already purchased is ready for pick up even though I was told on July 19th that it would be delivered on the 20th. It is now July 24th.Update #2: the saga continues, I called today (July 24th) and was informed by the receiving manager that my order had been delivered on the 20th and that he was going to figure out what was going on and that he would call me back. Two hours later the hunting department manager called me and informed me that he had hoped I wasn’t paying attention to the tracker and that they could just get away with the fact that the gun came in scratched and knicked on the carrier and that he just ordered me a new one with an ETA of July 26-28th. Had the store been upfront in the first place and kept me informed through the phone number that is given when the order is placed this would have never been a problem.

They say the match prices, big sign on the building but when you want to match something it takes them 20 minutes to approve it. Big hassle.

Not the friendliest managerial staff or staff in general. My last trip there saw them ducking and avoiding customers and counting down the seconds to closing time. How about accommodating the customers that make your paychecks possible? The only positive is that it’s relative well stocked.

They have a great selection of about anything you could want. Their shelves were full of reloading supplies even though they were overpriced. There was no type of information regarding quantities, however when I tried to purchase 2 pounds of powder, I was informed that you are only allowed a single pound, per person, per day. That wouldn't have been a problem had I known prior to driving an hour just to get there and then still not knowing because there was no information regarding rationing! I will not be back unless they have something I have to have at a deal that I can't resist!!
