I went in yesterday 01/02/24 around 12:50 to drop off my application for my passport and take a passport photo. The man at the counter (I didn’t catch his name) was very nice and helpful and made the process super easy.

The only post office near my home that can make passports, the staff are very nice, thank you very much to them.

I was here for 25 min getting my passport and there was a child screaming the entire time. I am not joking. No one did anything to stop the child from yelling, not once. I couldn’t see the child in the common area. So my guess is that the child is behind the counter. Never ever go here unless you want to hear one of the employees children yelling every few seconds for Aslong as you are here.

would love to have been able to speak with a rep but...no one answers, forget scheduling packages online to be picked up from your residence ….they never pick them up , what’s the point of offering that option ??? I have never had any issues with that option anywhere else but Wilmington.Tried filing a report online to report the issue but they wouldn’t take it , figures !

This post office sucks! Jackie and the other guy offer 0 customer service and act like they’re doing us all a favor by working there. I will use UPS or FedEx from now on even if it costs double. Do not waste your time/money

DO NOT HAVE YOUR PASSPORT PHOTO TAKEN HERE! I trusted that the post office, of all places, would take my passport photo and there would be no issues. I had my documents ready, and did everything I was supposed to do to be sure I would have my passport well ahead of my trip. That was in December and turn around time for routine applications was 6-9 weeks. Then I recieved a notification in February that my photo was not accepted so I immediately had a new photo done elsewhere and sent it in. Somewhere between the two dates, the Dept of State became inundated with applications and I still do not have my passport 14 weeks later. This trip can not be postponed. I have called the Dept of State and paid for expedited service but it is still highly possible I won't get it in time. I did everything I could possibly do. This delay is not because I was unprepared, as some reviews imply. I should have recieved my passport the beginning to mid March but due to their neglegence alone, the process has been delayed and will likely cost me a trip that I will never have the oppportunity to take again, and even more importantly with the person I am supposed to take it with.

I would love to have been able to speak with a rep but...no one answers2/28/23 worker left mail cart outside unattended at 320 chestnut street and brought a stack of mail into suite 120 instead of sorting it in the mail slots inside. He left the stack of mail, which was not all for our office, on the desk of an employee who wasn't here, and left without saying anything to anyone else. Had I not gone looking for something else at that employees station, we wouldn't have noticed the stack of mail. These are recordings and requests for government documents. Our customers expect prompt services and this is hindering that.

I give the post office one star because of the in person encounter I just had with a woman in the left slot counter when facing it. I have been going to this post office for over 3 years. I walk my small dog in a dog carriage, she is tied in with three lines andHas a cover on the carriage. I walk 3Miles downtown every day and bring the dog in for mail services daily. NO ONE has ever said a word to me. The dog is completely contained. I don't want to leave her outside because she could get stolen. This woman made a point to ruin my once beautiful day by telling me I could no longer bring the dog in. Every employee in that building has seen the dog and is aware she would harm no one. Yes, there is a sign that she must be a service dog. She is a service to me. I findIt ridiculous that government services allowMen in women's bathrooms but I cannot bring a fully contained small dog into the post office to keep her from being stolen. ItWas a slow morning there. I was buyingStamps when she informed me. I believe this person was having a bad day and wanted to make sure mine went badly as well. She pointed out that everyone had to be treated as equal but is this really true? Every one else there is nice, professional and efficient.

I truly wish I could give a higher rating than this! My joy for the service I received can be summed up in one word…MAX! Max helped me SO much with all the information I needed to receive my expedited passport for a work trip I have. He was patient, kind, clear, and helpful with everything I needed. Max truly is the epitome of excellent customer service and he deserves all the praise for simply doing what he does and doing it brilliantly!
