Azalea Station post office is usually not busy until around 11am-5pm. Not unless it's a Saturday then they are busy from open to close. Very friendly place and staff to go the extra mile to help customers. Even when they are busy, they still smile and do whatever it takes to go the extra mile to put a smile on your face and to make sure you are pleased with their service.

They suck so bad! Worst experience I've had with any business. Somehow they have lost 3 packages in the past 2 months but want tell me how or where it went.

This branch NEVER answers the phone and there’s no option to leave a VM. I’m trying to follow up on the serious issue of not receiving my mail— you know, the basic function of USPS.

No one answers the phone. Left orange slip in mailbox and it has sat there for two days. Totally unacceptable and poor customer service!

I’ve visited this branch a few times, and each time the employees seemed visibly unhappy and disengaged when helping customers. During my most recent visit, I simply wanted to do a change of address. The representative seemed annoyed from the start and asked for my physical driver’s license—which was fine, so I went and retrieved it.
Then she requested additional verification to confirm I was authorized to make the change, even though I was the original account holder. Despite having both my debit and credit cards associated with the new address, she told me I couldn’t proceed. There was no willingness to help or offer alternative solutions.
Out of frustration, I went online and was able to update my address in less than five minutes. It was a disappointing in-person experience that highlighted a lack of customer service.

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. Went today to mail something out. Everyone was extremely helpful and kind. When I walked in there was only positive energy with everyone that was working there.

I must be blind or stupid because I could not find the outside blue boxes to drop off a letter. So based on that they must not have any. Or like I said above I must’ve just not seen them. But you can’t even identify the post office from the road. There’s not even a sign that says post office unless you look directly at the building. How pathetic. Must be nice to work for an organization that gets wonderful pensions while the rest of us have to work for a living.

Paid extra for priority mail. It’s been 3 days and still hasn’t shipped. Called the offfice to ask when they were going to send out my package and she didn’t even care to ask what the number was. Just said “our mail gets sent out daily goodbye” and then Hung up

What a horrible place, can’t get my packages delivered ever. I’ve had to pick up my last 3 items shipped through them and one was broke. Not to mention how unhelpful and rude the employees at this location are. They told me the drive has a disability, well that makes two of us and I still need to go down 3 flights to go to the post office

10/10 place. The people are people and not forced faux capitalist personalities who fret a wavering smile will cost them their rent and food. Y'all are doing great!

Unfortunately, my sentiments about the Azalea US Post Office customer service is the same - poor. The staff and post master all need to be replaced with competent, willing to work, customer excellence focused and trained workforce. I had 2 parcel shipped during the Christmas holiday and both were shipped back to the 'sender'. I received no notice (not the 1st attempt or 2nd attempt to deliver). I only received a final notice in my mailbox that the parcels would be delivered on January 10, 2025. Well, the parcels were in fact returned to the sender on December 16, 2024. I can only say that we have a long way to go to get 'mediocre' customer service in our society. You just only want people to do their jobs - is that too much to ask for. Sorry that others have had poor experience. This experience highlights a need for improved customer service at the Azalea Post Office. I believe that investing in proper training and customer service protocols for the staff, including the postmaster, is crucial. I understand that these situations can be challenging, but I believe CONSISTENT, RELIABLE SERVICE should be the STANDARD. In light of this experience, I will be utilizing FedEx and UPS for future shipping needs.

Worst post office ever. Extremely rude and poorly trained counter staff. Does not even know how to measure a package size. They measure the girth both ways and came up with double the normal box total. When I showed them the correct method on the usps site they wouldn't even acknowledge it. It was like that every visit. I go to the one by Target and always a great experience.

Worst post office staff that I've ever delt with. USPS in general is going down the drain. I've been waiting on a package that had departed Fayetteville, NC over 6 days ago. That's a 2 hour drive from Wilmington and even with a regular delay 2 days should be the max. When the package finally arrived to the office I tried to pick it up. The counter lady said that the package is "probably" still in the crates. She didn't even bother to check so I left and waited for the mail to run. 2 mail runs later and still no package; hell it probably got stolen or delivery to the wrong address since that's pretty frequent around here. I hope this place goes down under.

I ordered three items which would arrive on different dates. The first one did not arrive in my mailbox, they left a receipt for a redelivery and when I enter the page it says that my address is not available for said redelivery. Then the second article arrived in my Mailbox, without delays or problems. So, how do you justify that an item did not arrive, according to the file they left which they circled are:
1) Full container/ large size item (0.4 lbs/7.5 oz) hair relaxer you can imagine how big my product is.
2) There is no safe location available.
It doesn't make any sense, because if one item arrives, the other doesn't. And the worst of all is that now I have to go to his office to pick it up.
