They leave before closing

It’s genuinely impressive how bad this office is. I’m sure the people are great, but they shouldn’t be working here. Currently, I am on my 24th attempt within 3 hours of calling them and still no answer. This would make the 5th time I’ve had to reach out to this post office for a package and this time is extra frustrating. I get a notice that my package has “insufficient address” after ordering it for the SECOND time after they “misplaced” the original. Maybe I could’ve caught them before sending my item back to the sender IF THEY ACTUALLY ANSWERED THE PHONE, but I must be asking for too much. Thanks again guys!

This is the worst, most ineffective post office I've ever had to deal with. And that's saying something.

No one ever picks up the phone at this location, called several, several times.... if you are experiencing an issue, good luck trying to get a hold of someone on the phone to resolve

The staff at this location is incredibly friendly and I am always helped quickly. I guess people write bad reviews for the closest post office when their delivery goes wrong or something.

I've had issues with my mail being delivered and I went into this branch for help. The lady I talked to was not knowledgeable AT ALL and was passively rude. She promised to look into my issue and call me back. A week later, no call, no resolution, and still no mail LOL.

Depending on how lazy the current driver is, just about every single package thats larger than a book I have delivered to my home is undelivered, needing to be picked up at the post office (The next day!) There is no true reason for this, there occasionally will be a driver that can walk the 30 feet to our doorstep but that is a rarity

I use this post office often and have never had a bad experience. The folks who work here are professional kind and patient

They aren't forwarding our mail, and no one will pick up the phone when we call. Our mail should've started being delivered to our new address early last week, but they're holding it for some reason. A formal complaint case has now been opened with USPS.

I see and hear many criticisms of this post office branch and its personnel. While I (rarely) face problems with package delivery to my home, I find almost all the staff at the Magnolia Station P.O. (on Market St near Porter’s Neck Rd.) to be respectful, courteous, and helpful.
They are overworked and understaffed, in my opinion, but I blame U.S. Postmaster General Louis DeJoy for that. He publicly has declared numerous times that his chief goals include centralizing critical postal
operations, closing most processing and distribution facilities, and drastically cutting the number of USPS employees and job positions. This is NOT the fault of local postal workers, especially those who work the counter at the P.O.! Please consider this.
With these policies, DeJoy has forced postal carriers to work ridiculously long hours … including on Sundays and holidays … which change has caused detrimental effects on morale and performance. I suspect there consequently is excessive employee turnover, leading to inefficiency and errors in delivering the mail to homes and businesses.
Personally, I mainly use a P.O. Box due to my schedule and to punks having destroyed my home mailbox three times within 2 years. The staff at Magnolia Station have always taken good care of me and done so cheerfully and professionally despite the workload they carry. I truly appreciate them, and I wish more folks did, too.

Nicest people I’ve ever met.
Let me come in to pick up my package early as I was leaving for deployment. Saved me so much stress and heartache.

Went into this Post Office to try and pick up a package that the tracking said was there because I wanted it today so they wouldn’t have to deliver it to my house cause I wanted this package as soon as possible and the ladies in the post office told me they would try to find my package because they didn’t want to have to look for it. They told me I could come back tomorrow and pick it up and I said I’m want to pick it up today because tomorrow I have to work and it would be at my house hopefully by then. I know I may have seemed impatient but don’t be rude to me because I’m asking someone to do their job! Lazy and inconsiderate people every time I go into this Post Office! Federal institutes are always the worst.

Sent ~$300 worth of wedding invites out from this post office. 6 1/2 weeks later only a handful of people have received them. 2 different people in Wilmington haven’t gotten theirs yet.
No one knows anything or can answer any of my questions… USPS is garbage.
