I'm a bit late with this review as I went there last month but it was a super fast, efficient experience from kind, polite staff who didn't make me feel badly about driving an older car nor judged when I asked about an oil change special to save money. I thought I'd need someone to pick me up and before I could make a call they were already done and asking if I had questions! It's been a month, no issues and I highly recommend them.

These guys are great. They work their tails off servicing our cars. And I'll bet for little pay, but they all great you with a smile and get right to work, and they are fast in and out within 20 minutes and very reasonable prices. They have business from now on. I think my service manager was Paul.

I went there to get an state inspection and 10 minutes or more into inspection the guy comes to me and stated they can not do inspection because my car have a plastic under lining. I told him they did it last year and he gave me a run down of that is why they have all new staff. Worst excuse I have ever heard. I just hope that they have not done anything to my car. The inspection never failed they stated that they could not lift my car because of the plastic under lining because your lift is not design for it. According to your service tech they did not do an inspection.

Two bad experiences in a row very poor customer service demanded that I remain in the waiting room for a vehicle inspection on a 2022 Acura I just wanted to go to Food Lion for a couple of items right next-door never go back

Big white dude with light brown beard doesn’t do his job didn’t even verify what oil I wanted and had an awful attitude. Go to any other valvoline in Wilmington and they will treat you better.

As a military veteran attention to detail is key and this location never disappoints. I live 30 miles from Wilmington and have been coming to the Valvoline location for 7 years. Today they only had two workers when they first opened. The assistant manager Lee and Garrett were both on top of things even thought they were short staffed. The customer service didn't decline, the attention to detail was awesome, they were very professional, and courteous. Job well done as usual Valvoline Wilmington !!!

These guys always do a great job. They also do it quickly! They are not super cheap, but on the whole it's reasonable. Keep up the good work guys!

Just putting this out a warning they will state that they don’t have a filter in the middle of an oil change to cover up a big mistake of draining the transmission fluid and not coming clean and ruining a perfectly running van.

Not one to normally write bad reviews but this Vavoline has really left me and my family in a hard place. Received an oil change from them on my way home from North Topsail Beach. I knew one was needed and stopped by there with the new car I just recently purchased. I received nice service (so I thought) just to drive home to Virginia and my check engine light came one. I had a notable mechanic check it out and they said I had no oil on the dipstick. Fast forward I call my dealership about the issue and was encouraged to continue to put oil in my car until the light came back on. A few weeks past and no luck but my car was clearly leaking oil. I take to my dealership at their urgent request in hopes of finding the issue. They told me that as they tried to perform oil change and diagnostic they found that the oil plug was double gasket which caused the oil pan to crack. No one at Vavoline mentioned doing this or seeing this prior to servicing me. Essentially my dealership let me know this is human error but they should have notified me. In my invoice from the dealership they noted that Vavoline overtightened the drain plug and cracking the oil pan trying to stop the leak. When the lifted my car up the engine undercarriage was soaked with oil and and the felt was saturated.What gets me is I call to file a claim and spoke with the area manager (Ben) who mentioned he had to PULL FOOTAGE for next steps and would call me back Monday or Tuesday of this week. I never received a call Monday so I reach out to Customer Support Tuesday just to be told he was on vacation but he would call me back Wednesday. No call by 3 pm Wednesday so I reach back out and support connects us. On our call he pretty much said there was nothing that would do to fix because the person who did my oil change has a clean record and has been with them for years. I asked about the footage and he said THERE WASN’T ANY. I ask how can they determine this decision them and essentially he really has no explanation besides how the company personally feels about the employee. After this I asked to escalate to his manager because none of this makes sense: I also requested in writing a policy or procedure on how issues like this are handled. He still had no response and said he would escalate to his manager.I really just want and need this mistake resolved. I love Vavoline in VA and always took my Honda there during college. I am really saddened by how they’re trying to make a decision but there’s no footage?Service: Oil change
