Wade Park is a great and lovely park for a nice walk, bike ride, or run to change up the scenery. It offers a very good walking and bike path that is a loop, with options to make it smaller or connect to the Cross City Trail for extra mileage. The trail goes through a vast amount of evergreens, making it a nice experience even in winter, and allows for viewing wildlife like red-tailed hawks, squirrels, and an alligator in the pond. It is a smaller park with a children's playground that has swings, a slide, and a small ninja course. The park is very dog-friendly, with a watering station for dogs. There is a good picnic area with shaded tables. However, the bathrooms are often closed, and are dated, not very good, dark, and can smell. Overall, it is a well-maintained park that is great for kids, walks, and seeing wildlife.
