The guy working 11/09/2022 at 9:30pm deserves a huge raise. He was amazing and I will be a loyal customer to this Walgreens forever. Very friendly and went above and beyond to help a customer In need. Highly recommend a promotion for him.

This is only about the Walgreens Pharmacy on 4501 Market Street in Wilmington, NC- (I haven't been inside the store) Because the my regular Walgreens pharmacy was out of stock with my medication, I had my medication sent to this one. They apparently did not approve of the medication that I have been taking for a long time. And the prescription was not sufficient "documentation" for them to fill it. The fact that other Walgreens had documentation and has been filling it for a while also was not sufficient. They insisted on talking to my doctor. Even after my doctor called them, they refused to fill the prescription. The pharmacist and technician and their manager all think they are better than your trained medical doctor. They certainly feel they are better than you, as the customer.

They screwed my prescriptions up twice. Told me my prescription was ready when it was not. Told me my prescription was ready again and it was not again. Terrible store. Go somewhere else. And then they argued with me and were rude about their mistakes. And the lady pharmacist tried to throw corporate under the bus for their failure to send me alerts.

Why is it so hard to keep people up to date on their prescriptions? I mean it's not like it's for their health or anything. Searching the Walgreens app it shows that I could have picked it up at another location. Why wouldn't they offer that option to me if it's been available at the other location for the days I've been waiting on it and needing it?

I jus left there to buy a phone charger and batteries, and I felt so humiliated. When I handed the manager the batteries and asked him, are you going to walk these up to the cash register too? I hope that was a learning moment, I don’t want him to suffer, jus be careful how you treat customers the next time.

A family member got the first COVID vaccine at Walgreens. They wouldn’t not schedule the second one at the time of his first. I’ve spent hours on the phone with their “customer service” every day, with no resolution. Their negligent, dysfunctional system is placing lives at risk.
