My tank was installed on 4/11/23 by a very nice gentleman. The gentleman informed me I should call the main number to inquire about a fill. I called the main number to find out when my tank would be filled and I was told someone would be coming out in the next two days, because it was completely empty. The tank was not filled until 2 weeks later. After multiple calls. I was disappointed because as a new client I expected a smoother transition. Hopefully things will improve.

I like the fact that I receive a text to inform me the gas has been delivered. I never have to call to say I need gas. I have been satisfied with the service so far, and I hope to continue to receive great service.

My mother is a senior citizen in Macclesfield, NC and was told it would be 14 days before she would receive a gas delivery. This stemmed from a gauge being replaced and she was unaware and didn't know it had been replaced or how to properly measure the qauntity in the tank. The company states driver shortages and other excuses. I don't understand how you would deliver fuel needed for heat to a senior citizen. There is no hot watwer or heat at the residence and the company does not care. This is totally unacceptable. You're telling me that no one within your company can deliver gas to my mothers home?? Im certain if it were your parent you would have the trucks rolling the same day of the call!! Not to mention has been a customer for over 50 years.

We’ve been waiting for propane for a month. Been out for three days - no heat in freezing weather with three young children including an infant. I’ve been on the phone with them for days and still no service.

deliberately let you run out of fuel to pay the leak check fee, they say order at 30 percent but never show and let u run out ordered fuel to fill tank but as stated never showed and now have to order more to make sure tank can get filled completely

Absolutely incompetent! Last year they missed 4 appointments for site surveys to set up a tank. I ended up having to spend over $200 on space heaters for my house for winter because they never showed. This year they missed 2 appointments already. They have never shown up!! Every time they guarantee that someone will be there this time. Between taking off work for appointments and wasting money on space heaters so I don't freeze this excuse for a company has cost me over $1000 with absolutely nothing to show for it. Last phone call I had with them they said "this happens and you'll just have to keep rescheduling". After missing 6 appointments that are "high priority" they either have no respect for their customers time or money, or they're completely incompetent. I'm worried it might be both.

I have now had 3 issues with this company in the last year. The latest is because I am a will-call customer (mainly because we do not go through a lot of gas). I was told, when my tank was put in and set up service that I could not call for delivery until my tank was at 30% or below. I did on 1/22....I am still waiting for delivery (1/31) and I now have no gas and no heat and if I call and try to talk to anyone I get people who cannot understand English and want to cancel my account. Unacceptable!

I had my account set up in April 2020 to "customer will call for gas to be delivered". In November 2020, we moved from our location and never called for gas delivery. In November, without us calling, Amerigas filled the tanks and changed our account number. I receive an invoice every month and now they are charging late fees. i have called their customer service center every month and explained that i did not order the gas, that the account number had been changed and i was not paying the invoice. also wrote letter explaining the situation. i finally told them to pick up the cylinders which they have but they have not credited my bogus account. Not sure what is next step. only selected one star because that is only way you can post comment
