Would rather work with smaller local agencies who care about you as a client. These people obviously don’t care about anything but money

They suck. Period. They never come through on what they say. They don't care at ALL! They want the money and to hell with the rest! Done!

My wife and I were one of the firsts to move into CPM's bluebird property. Upon receiving the keys for the apartment, we were given a parking pass and told that a copy of the lease agreement and a second parking pass would be taped to our door the next day. This never happened. Our first week was a nightmare as we experienced rats and spiders of all shapes and sizes and were told by management that pest control would be an out of pocket expense. Also we soon came to find out that the onsite laundry had to be paid for and was not included as advertised. The property was never secured by the electric keypad doors as there was constant problems and the door was left propped open by management resulting in strange people wandering the halls at all hours of the day. More over we were informed that there would be no second parking pass due to there not even being enough parking spaces as there were apartments units in the building. We were told we could park in the grass lot next to the building only to have this statement recanted when we actually parked there. Chesson property management repeatedly added random charges to rent and laundry services and expected tenants to purchase parking in town and walk to the building. There is so much genuinely wrong with the way they treat tenants that. I cannot list it all in a single review. Upon requesting to terminate our lease we were told we had to pay the equivalent of 3 entire months of rent and a lease termination fee roughly amounting to 5500. We would recommend no one to make residency with chesson property management!!!!! I would give zero stars if at all possible. Horrible property, even worse management!!! They know where they can shove their fees.

Terrible service if I could I would put 0 stars. Chesson property kicked me out of the apartment because the owner was using my light to construct a building besides were I lived without my permission. I have a video that I would love to share. I recorded everything. The owner invaded my space because after all he felt he could because he owned it. He banged on my door and started yelling "open the door". He called me a B* too.Chesson property staff arrived and kicked me out even though I had done anything wrong. I am just posting this because it sucks to be kicked out of no where because the owner felt like it.Getting caught stealing sucks. Do not trust this companychesson property staff people are disgusting. Do not rent from them.

These are the horrible living conditions that I’ve had to endure bc The Chesson Agency allows their owners (Van Paul Etheridge) to not have to replace molded wood in peoples homes. This is my bathroom where the wood has rotted and molded. There would be mornings I would wake up and there would be fungus growths on the wall where the wood was rotting and which is pictured below. I would clean it and it would come right back. I have been complaining ab this for at least 3.5 yrs and all they’ve done is literally cover up the problem, which is also pictured. All of this mold is still under it. My son was sick every month and had to be put on a nebulizer bc of mold/mildew. So please DO NOT rent from CHESSON. And if you do, PLEASE do not stay at 205 Pearson st bc they not fixing a damn thing.

Moved in September 2022 and informed them of damaged floors. Last week June 21 & 22, 2023 they sent 2 vendors to look at the floor. Both vendors told me that the , floors need to be replaced. Chesson tells me that they said the floors weren't that bad, They said the landlord will come remove strips and staples from floor. This the same landlord that didn't want to pay for a mailbox. This is the same landlord that has been lying about car troubles since October 2023. That landlord aint doing nothing but collecting money with their help for something that would not pass inspection because of its foundation issues. Tenants really do not have rights.

After my last experience with a neighboring company, Chesson was a breath of fresh air. This rental agency has been delightful to work with. I am enjoying my rental property and neighborhood thus far. Come check them out.

Austin was the sellers agent on my home purchase, he deliberately withheld or lied about pertinent information regarding the house which didn't come to light for several months. He has dodged any attempt to contact him regarding this situation. Could not recommend Austin as a realtor or a stand up person.

TAKE PHOTOS, take photos, take photos. That’s all I can say about this agency. They WILL find a way to charge you for issues that you did not cause.
