This branch (some staff) lack of customer service skills and knowledge! I went to notarize a document today and this lady refused to notarize a simple document arguing that my form did not have a seal! I did not have the patience to educate her on the matter!

Really slow service , good people to work not leadership to make the service improve.

Closest Truist to me, but unfortunately the slowest. I had a simple question and tried to call and got no response. 5 different calls at varying times and a voice-mail later I still got no response. I had to go to this location to ask a simple question and ended up waiting 20 minutes. When I asked about the phone calls all I was told is that they rarely have time to answer phone calls. I genuinely considered switching banks today.

The absolute slowest bank. Updated 1/2 I asked why there was a delay I was told they go in the order of cars. 2 cars passed and nothing bank with anyone but this location.

REGRETFULLY, this is the closet Truist Bank to where I live. I've went to this specific location on two separate occasions and each time they said they were unable to assist; It's not that they're unable to assist me, it's they were unwilling to assist! Each time they told me they couldn't help me, I went to a different Truist Bank location and they were able AND willing to help. When I explained to them what happened at the University Pkwy location they just shook their heads and apologized for the poor service I received at that location. The first poor experience I received was when I went in to pay off my vehicle and they said I couldn't do it at the bank. They said I'd have to call Truist's 800 number and get an address to send in the payoff amount to. Not true! The person I spoke with on the phone apologized and said I could definitely go into the bank and pay it off, so I went to the Kernersville Truist Bank location and they were more than happy to assist me.The second time I received poor service at the University Pkwy location, they said they weren't allowed to notarize a document for me. Again, this was not true, because the Truist location in Oak Ridge had previously notarized a very similar document for me.If you're looking for a bank to do business with in the Winston-Salem/ University Pkwy area, I'd choose another bank. This specific bank gets TWO THUMBS DOWN!

Always horrible customer service at the University Parkway Truist Bank location! I’ve been to other Truist Bank locations and had really good experiences, but not at this location. In my opinion, the problem starts at the top. I definitely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this Truist Branch location!

I have never been to a slower bank. It’s been 30 minutes now in the drive thru just to make a deposit. There were 3 other cars in two lanes. If you don’t have staff, can’t service customers, and have a slew of bad reviews on Google…it’s time to make a change.

I was in and there were five people behind the counter and almost one person helping any customers. This place is ridiculous! If you have other banking options go with them! The drive thru is even worse.

They don’t have enough staff and it takes forever to just walk in and cash a check.

This has to be the slowest bank I have ever tried to put my money in. They don’t even value their own time.

I gave it 1 star, because I couldn’t give it zero. This has to be one of the most incredibly incompetent institutions that I have ever dealt with. My mother passed away and left me a small amount in an IRA. I have been trying to get this money for over 7 months now. Each time, the people at this location have a different reason why I can’t get it. I initially presented all paperwork and documents necessary for the claim. Now they say they don’t have it. Unreal!!! For what it’s worth, my sister, who had the same amount, filed her paperwork in a Truist in Graham, NC and got her check with days.

BBT in general is a bad excuse for a financial institution. They make their money by draining a deceased persons personal account with service fees when the dead customer no longer has direct deposit and basically say it is what it is. They refuse to close the account or lock it. Only way to stop them is by paying for probate, it would cost to much to bother.
