My wife and I are traveling from California to the North Carolina mountains. I was in a panic. I wear Costco Hearing Aids and I have a molded ear piece with a wax guard tip. I ran out of tips and while on the road called the Costco Hearing Aid center in Winston Salem and talked to Diana. She said come on in as they had the ear tips and removal picks. We went in and she was sooo friendly and helpul. Cleaned my aids and changed the tips and gave me extra plus a pack of batteries. What service....a big shout out to Diana for her excellent customer service !

Can't help but be frustrated with my experience here. Went to have my tires changed and was advised about an hour to change them which totally fine. Was told I would receive a call when my car was ready to go. Waited about an hour fifteen without hearing anything so tried calling to get update and wasn't able to get a hold of anyone. Tried calling 2 more times over the course of 30 minutes, finally walked over with my cart (wasn't sure if I could bring it in there hence trying to call first). Found out my car had been ready for forty five minutes and they never called. Had about an extra hour of my weekend wasted so probably won't be coming back here.

Had an issue with the tires I ordered - DJ, Eric, and especially Pierce went above and beyond to help me figure out the best course of action, while also dealing with me being frantic and flustered (and probably asking some relatively d*** questions).

This review has nothing to do with the shopping side of Costco. No, I'm just here to preach about the pepperoni pizza. Two bucks gets you a wedge of pizza big enough that it only feels right to eat it folded in half. Nothing on that piece of pie is healthy, and there will be grease, but I know of no place in the area where $2 will get you a good lunch. The dough is a little heavy for me, but that's probably the right choice due to the rendered grease. The sauce is flavored surprisingly well and there's enough present. Plenty of pepperoni slices are on each wedge as well. Even better: a quarter slipped into a nearby machine will reward the purchaser with a chilled bottle of Kirkland water. A full meal for less than three bucks. I'm maybe a bit too picky about hot dogs, for I haven't been as pleased with Costco's value minded hot dog deal. The lack of slaw and chili probably contribute to my less glowing view of the sausage. But that's okay. The pizza and water suit me just fine. #cheapbastard

Continuous free maintenance on tires purchased from and installed by Costco for the life of the tires while they're on your car, including pressure checks, adding nitrogen, and rotations/balances. Can't beat that deal. Can be a little tricky to catch the Tire Center at a good time for rotations/balances because historically they haven't taken appointments for that particular service (at my local store, anyway). I've been advised just to walk-in between 10A-12P on weekdays when I need a rotation/balance, and this usually works out okay but it can occasionally result in having to return another day due to them being so busy. Still, I can't complain too much about waiting a little while for a service that I'm not paying for each and every time. And the Tire Center guys are all (usually) very polite and helpful. Will definitely continue buying tires from Costco.

Excellent products here, especially the ones with Kirkland brand. I put 4 stars due to the lack of technology on their website and checkout. Lines are long and the self checkout is not a fun process, most of the item we buy here are large and they make you take everything out of the shopping cart in order to scan them! Way behind Sam's on this part.

Memberships/Returns: Had a great experience here when getting my new card. Quick service, friendly workers, and very knowledgable. Never had to return anything but I have never seen a very long line at memberships. Gas: Probably one of the smallest Costco gas stations I've ever seen, but I've never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes even on a very busy day. There are workers walking around to make sure everything working fine and guiding traffic as needed. Also seen workers help some elderly people or people who aren't too tech savvy which is very nice. Food court: One of my FAVORITE parts of Costco, nothing can beat that $1.50 hot dog and soda. Chicken bake is also great and flavorful but can sometimes be salty, and the soft serve is also great. Love that they have self-order kiosk (card only) which has made the process so much faster. Actual wholesale: Honestly a very normal Costco with a huge parking lot. Very big but great layout, easy to navigate, obvious whats on sale and isn't on sale. Samples here and there. Checkout can be brutal on busy days but since they introduced self-check outs for less than 20 items it's been a lot faster. Overall no real complaints.

This location was pretty good. The employees were nice and helpful and the restroom was clean. I successfully used the self-checkout too. They had some tempting samples, but I passed on them because they weren't organic. I usually don't eat samples anyway. I don't want food in my teeth and I always shop with a list. I craved organic blueberries, but they didn't have them. I even braved the freezer, but ended up with organic salad. They had organic raspberries and organic bananas though and I almost bought their organic mangoes. I was surprised that they had organic wine and that it was inexpensive. It wasn't the brand that Costcos typically carry when they carry it, but they had a cab and a white wine. They also had organic pumpkin seeds and organic cashews. I bought their manuka honey because it was $30 for a pound and it has a MGO 263+ rating. I was stoked that they had organic noodles. In fact, I am going to make some right now. I didn't see Amy's organic soup, but I might have overlooked it. I didn't want to lug around cans anyway. The self-checkout stand required an ID check by an employee twice (once for each bottle of wine), so I had to flag one down and wait a minute because he was busy. He didn't ask me to show it to him though. If you're in a hurry and buying beer, wine, alcoholic, etc. you may want to save time and use the regular checkout because self-checkout will delay you.

Let me say I am posting this review treating Costco as a dinner spot and I will mention things we consider winners. Buy these things again and again - some nights you don't want to cook but you also don't want to go out - boom Costco - multiple meals covered. - street taco tray - requires some heating but could eat cold $15-17 - shepard's pie - hour in the oven - feeds like 4-6 - $18 - chicken pie - 90 minutes in oven - feed - 4-6 $20 - broccoli soup - just need heated on stove top - 2 containers - long shelf life - feeds 3 per container - pizza by slice - $1.99 per slice - value - soft serve vanilla - $1.99 - to die for - shrimp salad - container - like seafood salad but shrimp - $7-10 depending on weight - yum - muffins - 12 muffins - 2 for $8

I always enjoy shopping this location. I've never had issues finding a parking spot and although they are busy you move around the store easily and there is a short wait at checkout. They carry a lot of organic options which is always my preference. Prices on organic produce is much better than in the grocery stores. Gas price is around $.20/gallon cheaper which accounts for a long wait at their pumps. While not all items are a notable savings, the deals make the membership price work for us....especially if you are close enough to shop there on a regular basis.

Had issues with tires I bought elsewhere but needed new tires. Got my new tires at Costco and Aaron diligently got in touch with tire manufacturer and got me a sizable refund on my older tires. This is a shout out for Aaron S. He took on the task with a very pleasant attitude and got it resolved.Tire purchase was easy no up sell at all. All very first class service from Aaron S. When you have exemplary employees like him your customers will stay loyal. Thank you again.
