Had visit this location, one of the staff serving cupcakes to customers had to stop in the middle of placing orders to walk away to continuously cough, had sniffles and congested. Please at least wear a mask or just stay home if not feeling well. Mind you these desserts are served uncovered behind a display glass. Non contamination and safety should be your top priority when serving any food items to your customers.

Came here from out of town based on reviews, picked up a few cupcakes, cake squares and an eclair. The customer service was great but the desserts were very overrated to me, the cupcakes were very dry and were only soft once you got to the inside of them. The cake squares were better, but overall I think the flavors were not better than a grocery store bakery. I was really disappointed.

This a staple for NC. We get our kiddos birthday cakes and cookie cakes and it's always worth EVERY penny to us. Tastes amazing and also cater to your needs.

Remember when you guys put icing on your cakes? Now it’s a cake that’s 4 inches thick and icing that’s about the thickness of a dime.. smh!?

I always ordered my Mardi gras cakes from Dewey's, at least 3 cakes every time. This year I called and was waiting on a call back as to what filling they would be doing this year, as I waited for a call back, for over a week, they finally let me know a week before Mardi gras that they weren't making cakes this year as the ingredients would be too expensive. I was left NO OTHER OPTIONS as all bakeries stop taking orders 2 weeks before the event. It is really management BAD to wait to make such an important decision a week before a holiday!!!So, as a native from New Orleans I can say, Dewey's will never get another purchase from me!! They ruined my celebration!!!Fire your event manager!!Do better!!!

Last week I came to this location and was very displeased by one of the employees you have a male decorator by the name of Juan he was very rude disrespectful and sincerely was very creepy towards my 14 year old son asking him very inappropriate

I've been eating incredibly delicious Dewey's pastries, cookies, and cheese straws for decades.Graduated Wake Forest 1979 and were making runs to Dewey's, at this same location, constantly.Always stop by and load up goodies when in Winston-Salem!Dietary restrictions: They let you know which items may contain allergic ingredients.

I always the goodies I purchase from Dewey’s. The assistance is usually helpful. I will have to say the last two times I purchased the small biscuits they did not seem to be as fresh as normal. They are normally delicious.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!Placed an order for 48 white on white cake squares for a party and the quality is very inconsistent. Placed the order on Thursday for a Saturday pick up and it seems like they saved old squares from Thursday and Friday then made more to complete the order. I have had left over/ old cake from Deweys enough times to know that we got old and fresh squares for our event. The icing was hard you can hear the scrapes on top. Also the cake was so so dry in all of my pieces except 1. I had 3 squares at the event (1 for me and tasted my kids as well) I also got 6 to take home from the event yesterday and the cake feels 4-5 days old already. That's 1:9 ratio of freshness from the cake I tasted. I'm not sure if they did this to cut cost/loss or because we had a big order but definitely put a bad taste in my mouth. I will not order Deweys again. I gave 2 stars because the lady who took the order and explained things was nice.
