I withdrew $500 and the teller gave me $480. Yes I should have counted it there, but I assumed the teller would be able to do their job. When I came back to let them know the mistake they made, I was told “there’s nothing we can do about it, we make mistakes too”.TL;DR - don’t trust them with your money

I'm pretty sure I'm spelling her name wrong.Ms. Addy was extremely helpful and non judgmental. I had issue by prejudice at the Stratford location. See details at the Stratford review.I explained everything to Addy and she followed through with the exact training and knowledge she received from whomever trained her properly. She knows her job and was exceptional and kind.Anyone can cash a check but very few people can make a visit pleasant.

This isn't my bank, but I stopped in here to complete a private car sale transaction since the other party banks here. The teller, who is a notary public, greeted them by name and walked us through the process of a title transfer. They notorized the title and sent us on our way with a warm smile. If we lived in Midway, I would definitely use this branch.

I'm pretty sure I'm spelling her name wrong. Ms. Addy was extremely helpful and non judgmental. I had issue by prejudice at the Stratford location. See details at the Stratford review. I explained everything to Addy and she followed through with the exact training and knowledge she received from whomever trained her properly. She knows her job and was exceptional and kind. Anyone can cash a check but very few people can make a visit pleasant. The Stratford Review Absolutely horrible and unknowledgeable employees in the Drive-Thru. I was aware that there was a $10 fee to cash my paycheck from my employer at Hawks Florist, because I'm not a member.. that wasn't the issue we had. I have been cashing checks since February from the same employer. However the woman in the Drive-Thru all well knowing it was a business account, preceded to call my now disgruntled ex employer.. she then came back and said she couldn't cash it, it was over the maximum.. #1.. if you were trained properly you would have looked at the check and have made that decision when first receiving it. However the maximum for all first national Banks between Charlotte, Greensboro and Winston-Salem verified there is a $800 maximum. My check was $454. The woman then said 'do you not have a bank you can do this with"... I knew that she was being prejudiced after calling my previous employer and my previous employer trying to make my life a little more difficult. That the woman in the Drive-Thru made up a lie hoping that I would not follow through with verification. I ended up cashing out my check with the very friendly people at the Arcadia branch. I then called the Stratford branch manager and gave her all the information over the phone where she verified it was a business check. I explained to her that we told the woman in the Drive-Thru it is a business check and it was clearly stated on the check the name of the business. She also called the business to verify.. The branch manager Stacy Waldrup (SP) then place me on a hold for a brief moment. When she returned instead of apologizing for the lack of knowledge or prejudice that was bestowed upon me in the Drive-Thru from the drive-thru employee, she proceeded to do damage control and made an excuse that the woman in the Drive-Thru had no idea it was a business account...... The entire branch is not a great experience from the drive-thru all the way up to the branch manager. I will definitely be placing this review on Yelp as well and letting everyone else know not to come to this branch.. the two stars precedes itself very well.

My mother passed away and her social security check was returned back when it shouldn’t have because she was due that check for the prior month. That action caused overdraft fees. The branch manager refused to credit all of the overdraft charges even though it wasn’t my fault the overdraft occurred. A month later I received a refund check for overpayment of the charges after the account was reviewed(which should have been done by the branch manager in the beginning).

This is the friendliest FNB branch and the bank manager is very nice and professional. The other branches don’t compare. Unfortunately I live further away now but if I have any problems this is the branch I go back to.

We obtained a second mortgage through NewBridge Bank. Keep in mind, our first home was financed by BB&T and we had an absolutely amazing experience with them. Unfortunately, the service from NewBridge Bank did not meet our expectations in the least. I spent nearly an entire day gathering the necessary paperwork for underwriting. We waited weeks for final approval with no clear explanation for the delay. The agents at NewBridge with whom we were working never even hinted that our mortgage would be sold to US Bank (a less than prime lender) immediately upon closing. In fact, this was not disclosed until the closing date itself - surprise! Additionally, the fees for the appraiser were astronomical and although we clearly indicated our price limit for this service, their contracted appraiser managed to find a way to raise this limit by a significant amount. And finally, shortly after closing we learned that although NewBridge Bank was responsible for issuing payment for our homeowners insurance policy at closing, they failed to do so. In the end we were left to pick up the bill for an entire 6 months worth of homeowners insurance premiums. I wish I had good things to say about our experience with NewBridge Bank, but I cannot in good faith recommend their mortgage services to anyone in the Triad.
