The woman running the store was walking around having a very loud phone conversation (I'm not even exaggerating, she was all but yelling gleefully into her headset) about what sounded like what should have been a private corporate conversation since it seemed to involve the impending termination of another employee. She was going into great detail about the employee's apparent transgressions and it was overall very odd and off-putting to hear such a public airing of a store's own dirty laundry.

2 minutes agoNEW I had a humiliating experience at Go! Calendars & Games. I wanted to buy a calendar, I went to the register to check out and the kid working behind the counter was FaceTiming on his phone, proceeded to swipe my card several times on some outdated register, because apparently the owners are too cheap to buy a modern chip reader which is safer, my card wasn't going through, even though I've had no problem using it anywhere else, then the kid said "unless you have cash or another card there's nothing I can do." What shady and terrible customer service. Either you find a way to ring up the item I want to purchase with my valid debit card that has more than enough money for me to buy a stupid $15.00 calendar, or update your faulty registers. Do you want revenue not??

Super fantastic mall. Clean, fresh, airy place to shop. Macy's, JC Penny's lots of shoe stores and stores for all ages. A great food court with lots to choose from. Bench's to sit are rest your tired feet.

Nice Mall but parking can be a bear Good selection of stores. Most of the larger malls have around 200 to 210 stores while this one has over 250. Very few vacancies and good selection. Most of the majors are represented with Macy's, Dillards, Belks etc and a good number of smaller national retailers. Was there last weekend and the only complaint was the parking and the distance you had to walk. All in all, everything else was great and would recommend to anyone, particularly if you are looking for some walking excecize .

PACSUN: my sister and I visited the Pacsun in the Hanes Mall today and our experience was not good at all. We started by browsing the shirt selections and then we started looking at the jeans. I grabbed two pairs of jeans and we asked a male employee for a dressing room. When we got back there he took some clothes out that another customer had left and my sister and I walked in and tried on the jeans. We left the dressing room with the same two pairs of jeans in our hands and went to put them back on the rack so the employee wouldn't have to worry about it but then he came up behind us with a tag in his hand. It looked like an accessory tag, something costing maybe $12. He said "I found this in your dressing room after you left but there were no tags in there when I let you in". My sister and I were confused, not even realizing that he was implying we had stolen something. we defended ourselves for a few minutes before I said "listen, you can search us if you'd like but we didn't take anything" and he says back "I don't want to search you, you can either fess up or leave the store" so we left because we hadn't taken anything or done anything wrong. We were extremely upset considering we had planned on buying things but we were forced to leave due to this employee. I do not recommend this Pacsun.

I haven't explored this mall fully but I can say I like what I see thus far. It has many stores to shop and a nicely arranged food court. The mall is clean and people have been pleasant.

First time in a long time that I have ordered anything online from JCPenney. Who thought it would be a good idea to have the pickup desk for online orders in the kitchen/housewares department. Ridiculous. Something you've already purchased and paid for, now you have to stand in line in the busiest department in the store to retrieve purchase. Makes no sense. I guess JCPenney is going to go away like Sears eventually.

This mall dates back almost 50 years! At one time it was the largest mall in the entire Southeast U.S. no idea where it ranks with that now, although it's still incredibly large, but that's incredible with the fact that malls are ghost towns in the matter of a few years of being built nowadays. Though I don't go to malls much anymore, it is weird to see how this concept seems outdated today with the proliferation of technology. Also, it seems as though we're slowly going back to strip malls again which seemed to be replaced by the big malls years ago!
