Was disappointing, don't sell golf clubs individually. Means you can't replace just 1 or 2 clubs. Also was difficult to get help.

Have had lessons with Kent, who has the patience of Jobe! Super teacher! Have always had quick re-gripping service and always has someone offer assistance. Great store and employees!!

Golf Galaxy is located near the Hanes Mall in Winston Salem NC. They have a large and clean store which is stocked with about everything you want or need to play the sport of golf. Every time I have visited there the staff has been nice and friendly with me. They are available to answer any questions you may have about golf or the wide selection of equipment available for purchase. Prices are maybe a bit high but reasonable compared to other shops like this one.

Like everyone says, depends on the day and the person… that said I had a great experience in my fitting with Brody. He didn’t push me to buy or try anything specific but did get me into a heavier, stiffer shaft, and almost immediately my mishits were less often. After he referred me to a lesson before buying new clubs, in which I can’t speak highly enough for Kent. He was patient and friendly but also honest, which I appreciate in a coach/teacher. It is very helpful to see your numbers and data on the hitting bays, something that really gives you a visual for where you think you’re at vs where you are. My GG experience was great!

Excellent place for golf clothing, balls, bags and clubs. Also had a good selection of left-handed stuff.... If you're into that kind of thing!

Great service need regripping of my clubs b4 a sunday tourney with my sched and distance was tough to get there showed up explained my situation n was immediately regripped

I went in today to be fitted for a pair of clubs. I walked over to the area where the sales associate walked by and greeted me just to say hello. Generally the next question in a sales persons mind is, how may I help you. However, not today he walked off. On the way out. I picked up a business card for the Store Manager, I told my children in a loud voice as the cashier who was present, even though she was reading a book, and the same sales person could overhear me that I would be looking elsewhere.I went to Dick’s sporting goods. Another sales associate told me when the golf specialist would be present and I got superb service. He did state that he has heard similar things about golf Galaxy in Winston Salem.

Me and my grandson were shopping at the Winston Salem store on 2/11/23. We normally go to Greensboro ( they’re nice and help you out, great store) I shop and my grandson (7) hit balls, if a bay is open. They was a lady working, I asked if he could hit a few balls, no help at all, very unprofessional. She made us fill like trash. Very disappointed. And I’ve spent $500 or $600 there recently. I got him a used adult drive and hit anyway. Greensboro golf galaxy is the place to go, not Winston Salem.

Just picked up a used driver and brought it here to get regripped. Kent was wonderful and super friendly on helping me with getting a new grip. Thank you Kent!!! Will definitely be back to this location

Well I have been to this location 3-4 times trying to buy an iron set and or some other clubs. Every time I have been in I might get greeted at the door and I might not. Currently in the store and have been hitting balls for 30 mins just waiting for someone to ask me if I need help…well yes I do I want to be fit for an iron set but not one employee has come up and asked…they are just standing around…do better golf galaxy or at least the Winston location. Mind you there are 4 customers in the store and as I can see 4 employees and not one is being helped at the moment. The other customers have been talked to. I have not at all…not even acknowledged…

I got fitted for a set of irons.Great, efficient experience. As expected, it took a few rounds, and practice sessions to get used to. The newer technology from my 25 year old set is game changing and remarkable.thank you for the help.

I shop here probably more than I need to. It depends on who you get when you go in whether or not you will be satisfied. I have had Glenn a couple of times and he is not my favorite. I've been in to purchase a putter and get "we close in 30 minutes so I don't really have time to help you". Went in yesterday and was told, " I get off in 10 minutes so we need to find someone else to help you find a set of irons". Only to be helped by the same guy and have a feeling of being a inconvenience. I almost purchased a set of irons just because I wanted to leave. Ended up telling him to let me hit a T300 just to be sure. So glad I did and didn't rush myself. I have also been in to be helped above and beyond what I should have.
