The team member on the phone just now was extremely snippy. I get that y'all are busy and tired, but we all are, but lock in. My location would never have that kind of attitude with a customer, lol.

Having worked retail I understand the challenges involved and appreciate the value, prices, and services that JoAnns provides. I purchase a majority of my cloth items here since they offer a wide selection at a great value. A clerk did ask how she could help and I replied that I was looking for a cheap pink fabric. Her reply could have been more specific to at least the table with premium cloth marked down 70 percent. Cutting table personnel very friendly.

This store needs to close! Don’t order online because they NEVER keep their inventory up to date. When placing your order it will show items available but once you place your order you always, and i mean always get a cancellation on what you order or the biggest majority of it. However, they hold your money from your account 3 or more days when the order is cancelled. They never answer the phone and when they do it’s never someone you can understand that’s located in another country. I understand why they can’t get help.

I used to love shopping here. Not anymore, it seems every time I place an online order, they cancel it without reason but neglect to return the money in a timely fashion or answer the phone. This time they cancelled my entire order. This is it! This is the last time I'll spend my hard earned money with these folks. I'll stick with Hobby lobby and Michaels and if they don't have what I need I'll go to Amazon.

Placed an order online. Two hours later I went to pick it up but it wasn’t ready and manager said I’d have to wait 30 minutes before she could help me. The lady, Emily refused to help because she couldn’t leave the cutting counter yet she just did!!! Poor customer service at its worst folks! Don’t shop here if you are expecting any help with anything! Order online and you’ll get faster service!!

I shop here quite often, because not much of choice when it comes to fabric stores. Each and every-time the only person who is ever nice to me, is the employee that is hearing impaired. She exemplifies kindness. Other employees, including management could learn from her. Was in there last night to pick up an order, they couldn't find it, and literally shouted my name three different times, while discussing with each other where my order was put. They also email a coupon once order is picked up, that you can only use that same day, I complied with coupon rules, but it would not work, cashier got irritated, (same one that shouted my name several times). Manager on duty did help, but in the processed put her finger to her mouth as to shush me. 🤔Also they cannot do math, when trying to help, I also got shushed. Extremely bad customer service, each and every time for the past several years.

As I was checking out of Joann in Winston Salem the cashier said "do me a favor, please do not do that ever again" as she pointed to the bag of fabric that I was picking up as an in store pick up. I ordered 30 yards of fabric under their current sale. She was upset that they had to cut 30 yards of fabric. She then proceeded to say that someone last week had the nerve to order 90 yards of fabric to be cut. Proceeding to say it took 3 hours and four employees to cut. Guess what, also me. I ordered online as an in store pick up for both because the deal was only for online orders. I did an in store pickup so noone would have to carry the fabric out of the store. This lady managed to make me feel like I did something wrong. Cashier: 723565.

Worst customer service I’ve ever seen in a store, a bunch of miserable women that should retire. They were so rude to me and other customers for no reason. Also, very under stocked and unorganized. I would recommend going to a different location, this one is awful.

You have to be wise about sewing. The staff here is nice and friendly most of the time. It is not a place to be in a rush. They move at a snails pace.

Worst costumer service I’ve had in a long time… I’m new to sewing, came in to get some fabric. I’ve never shopped here for fabric so I wasn’t aware that it was cut in the back. The cashier Dana was so rude to me when I brought fabric up without having it cut first. The store has a great selection but I’ll take my business somewhere else if this is how they treat people.

Our Winston Salem location has gone downhill since they relocated into the old AC Moore. The customer service is poor, employees always seem in an ill mood. The store is never stocked with items you need. They have so much overstock of fabric that it’s literally taking over the entire store. There are sections of the store that have been empty for months.

The Winston- Salem, NC location is a huge disappointment. Today the store was in disarray and not well stocked. It’s amazing from the time this new location opened until now how badly it’s gone downhill. I agree with the other comments about the patterns being jumbled up making it impossible to find what you are looking for. I’ll be trying the Greensboro location next time.
