Our Winston Salem location has gone downhill since they relocated into the old AC Moore. The customer service is poor, employees always seem in an ill mood. The store is never stocked with items you need. They have so much overstock of fabric that it’s literally taking over the entire store. There are sections of the store that have been empty for months.

The Winston- Salem, NC location is a huge disappointment. Today the store was in disarray and not well stocked. It’s amazing from the time this new location opened until now how badly it’s gone downhill. I agree with the other comments about the patterns being jumbled up making it impossible to find what you are looking for. I’ll be trying the Greensboro location next time.

Horrible customer service, asked a lady for help & got told it was “1 or 2 isles over” never looked up at me, never stopped what she was doing to help. Spent 10 minutes looking for what I needed. Either she was wrong or they just didn’t have it. Either way I won’t be back.

11-1-23 @ 5:30 Stopped in while visiting family 2 states away. I'll give it credit it's bigger than our one back home and the fabric selection is awesome. That's why I gave it an additional star. But some of the staff were so rude. Idk if they were just dying to get home or hated it there, but very impersonal. I grabbed 3 rolls of fabric to have cut and I wish I would have asked for the woman's name that was 'helping' me. She had no name tag on but she was very old, vampire pin on her apron and peach front glasses. I told her I wanted half a yard of each and I had no sooner set it down to uncurl and edge and she snapped at me. "Don't touch it! That's not allowed!!" I said I was just trying to help flip the corner. She said "I'm sure you're trying to help but that's what I get paid for! Don't touch, we don't want to accidentally cut you with the scissors." I had JUST laid it down, the scissors were on the next table, she hasn't even straightened it out or measured it yet, which she struggled with for a looong time. Then the next fabric had spaced out sequin pumpkins on it and as she was about to cut we asked if she could scootch over an inch as to not cut through a pumpkin. I guess that made her angry. She said "I CANT DO THAT!, then it would be more than half a yard!" We told her that's FINE, add in the 1 inch, just don't cut through the pumpkin! I work in customer service and I let a lot of stuff slide because I know it sucks, but I swear I have NEVER gotten attitude or been spoken to like that over something so small. Tell crotchety Karen if she can't control her temper, she needs to be stocking shelves, not helping customers.

Their buy online pickup instore never works!! Either turned off or lazy. I did a pickup order and they canceled several things and I found them in the store when I went in to grab my pickup!! If your to slow, understaffed or lazy just let us use our pickup coupon ourselves. Otherwise your ruining the deals and whole point of joanns.

I give this store 2 stars just for their outstanding selection of florals. Otherwise, they suck! Horrible customer service; LONG, LONG lines at the checkout; absent cashiers from their stations; bad attitudes from all the associates; cashiers publicly complaining about not having lunch breaks; constant price errors; no answering the phone and so much more! I try to frequent the Greensboro store more than this one. The W-S store desperately needs to train their cashiers and associates proper business etique and basic customer service skills. Serious attitude adjustments are needed!

JoAnn moved to the place AC Moore used to be at Silas Creek crossing. Miss AC Moore because of the Prices. Joann's prices are almost as good as AC Moore and the coupons too. I brought some items and the prices weren't the same as online but they did refund the difference.

Huge store, had really high hopes of finding mostly everything I need for crafting however I’m very disappointed to say 3 times in a row I went to purchase 3 different products which indicates in stock online but employees report it’s in the back, buried and/or not on the floor for purchase yet. Such a waste of gas, time and effort. Store is pretty much disorganized

I use to shop here all the time to find patterns, but their pattern department is terrible. None of the drawers work, all the patterns are mixed up and now put in boxes because most of the NEW drawers are already broken. Did they not understand that patterns are heavy and you need heavier glides for the drawers. The new store has been open for over a year and already is a mess. How hard is it to organize patterns by number and keep them in the drawers. How hard is it to put all the other ones away. They’re just laying all over the place. I’m very disappointed. This is a total management situation. It’s really not that hard to keep your patterns straight. This is what drives us all to continue to shop online which I don’t like doing. I want to support our local stores but they’re making it harder to come to Joann’s every time I come in here.

I found a lot of discounted items. Everything I bought had a discount. I even used a coupon. Well stocked with floral and fabrics. I will be back!
