4 Stars, but not for the reason you think. Stopped in at Jos. A Bank's Winston-Salem location this morning with every intention of purchasing a couple of suits and some dress shirts. There were two gentlemen working in the store. One was working with a customer and the other didn't appear to be interested in helping customers or making a sale. Perhaps there are different roles for different employees that aren't obvious to the customer.In any event, instead of waiting for the one helpful employee to become available I left and visited a local men's clothing store over in High Point ... and I have found my new "go-to" store for suits and dress shirts. The the difference in the "customer experience" was Night and Day (and I did order a suit in High Point). So, thank you Jos. A Bank for your disinterest. You helped me find a new favorite men's clothing store.

Winston-Salem, NC: Not the Joseph Banks Store I'm accustomed to!! Product displays very disorganized, merchandise not arranged by size, basically an outlet store feel!!It was the day after Christmas but unacceptable for upscale retail store. Disappointed!

Almost a crisis using Jos A Bank for a gay wedding.We came to pickup for a wedding as a favor to the groom. First, they only gave us one suit. Not realizing we left for the wedding and luckily the groom mentioned both suits asking how they looked. Realizing our mistake, we turned around and went back for the other. The employee was unapologetic and the other groom's suit was the only other item for the wedding. They didn't even provide a bag for either suit to ensure they stay crisp and clean. We are unimpressed and glad they didn't wreck the wedding

I purchased my second suit from Joseph A banks in Winston Salem NC.The shopping experience was great. Brian was very helpful and pleasant.He took the time to make sure I got just what I wanted and made sure I was happy with my purchase.The alterations were completed that same day and were perfect.This is the only place I even consider when it is time to get clothes for particular occasions.I will be back again….

Visited this location for a tuxedo rental for prom about a month ago. Both Daniel and Ian were amazing to work with- suggested the perfect tux, with an unexpected shirt choice that was perfect! Both employees answered all of our questions and had my not-a-dressy-guy son at ease with the whole process. They even dealt with the hassle of trying to match a pocket square and bow tie via Facetime, taking fabric samples out the front door, phone in hand, to make sure the fabric was a good match with the date's dress in daylight. Service was well beyond my expectations, and they played a huge part in my son having a relaxed, well-dressed blast at prom. Will definitely return for all of our "dress up" occasions in the future. Thanks, guys!!

The store managers name is Daniel and I've never met someone so unprofessional in his job. He yelled at an employee in front of customers and made me feel uncomfortable.

I took my son to this location to find a prom suit. At the time, it was me and another couple in there. The manager walked passed me several times then finally said can I help? I told him the time frame which we needed the suit. 2 weeks from now. He said he wasn’t sure if he could do it. So another rep walked over after this man acted like he was too busy to help us. I told her what he said to me and she said idk why he would say that but we should be able to get the tux back before his prom. She said she was new. This man still act like he was too busy until a white couple walked in. He immediately helped them!! This was so disappointing! This man does not need to be working as a manager!!!

Messed up sizing for tux rental, pants were way too small. Service was not good at all, shirt didn’t fit at all. Over all will not give any further business to them. I do not recommend at all!!

Service is subpar. Walking in to exchanges and possibly make a new purchase, but I was so frustrated with the attitude of the staff I just wanted to leave.

I went there with my dad a few months ago looking for a suit for my wedding. I made an appointment online. When we walked in the store, I had to approach an employee to tell him we had an appointment to try on suits and maybe get a custom one. He looked at me like I was a lobster, there was an awkward silence, I asked again if we could try some suits on. The employee asks what size my dad thinks he might need, and when answered, he loudly announced that they definitely don't have any suits that large, that's just too big, we don't make them that big any more, nothing in here will possibly fit you. As if he was doing a bit or something. As if my father was unaware that he is large. Another employee came over and we asked about getting a custom suit made. He laughed and told us it was absolutely impossible to get a custom suit made in our time frame (3-4 months) especially one THAT big (I mean, my dad is a big dude, but to hear these dudes you'd think he was Andre the Giant). Meanwhile, my husband got a custom suit made through the Jos A Bank in Raleigh in less than 2 months with excellent service. Hopefully attitudes have improved in the past couple of months.
