The potato salad recipe at the Deli at Lowes Food in Raleigh, NC needs to be changed because it is despicable. It has absolutely no resemblance to any potato salad that I have ever tasted during my years as a reputable cook. There is no description that I know of as to what it really tastes like but it is certainly NOT potato salad. I have always praised your deli before but this not one of those times.

I've always enjoyed shopping at Lowe's until I was overcharged on debit card by $448 then store issued credit which corporate office took back because they would issue correct credit so now by account was charged for additional $451 but2 days later and still no refunds. My bank account has now been overcharged by $850+.I've been told by corporate people at Lowe's that it takes the bank longer to refund than draft.I'll take the cash please, I'll pay Lowe's back when creditsReceived ..see how they like that.

I used to love the experience shopping at This grocery store - until this morning. We went in and had over 100 dollars worth of items to purchase the cashier was coughing and told people she ‘thinks she has covid’ as she checked them out without a mask. We have small children and are cautious about their health. When we asked for hand sanitizer and to bag our own food the woman then stated they didn’t have any and refused us to bag our own food items. The floor manager did not care or even apologize for the supposed employee COVID spreader nor appeared concerned. We left without buying food we wanted.I then called lowes headquarters - where the customer service representative did not care that a store employee was possibly getting people sick either. She said ‘there’s nothing we can do’.We will never shop at lowes again since this store quality doesn’t care about their customers well being.Absolutely shame.

Recently bought a watermelon, blueberries, raspberries and a container of cauliflower. Everyone one of them was almost rotten. I picked out about 15 blueberries that were okay. Needed this for a luncheon that day otherwise I would have returned them. They all went in the garbage disposal. I vowed never to buy produce from Lowes again. Be better Lowes! Your prices are high too.

Wine Sale is a scam. I have never purchased wine on sale for 20/25% off per case and received the discount without having to ask the cashier to give me the discount. It only gives you 10% and the cashier does not even know how to give the additional discount. This has happened at multiple stores. I have complained to the corporate office and have not seen any change. Very disappointing!

Came to visit a friend, who lives in Wilmington, made two purchases one the first day the second on the second. I noticed that I had been charged for an item I didn’t purchase after discount was $3. The following day I made a second purchase again at the bottom I was charged for another item that I not purchased for the same amount of $3. I took receipts to store manager to question why. His attitude was so bad with saying that he wasn’t there when I made the purchase! Basically called me a liar. I will make sure that I tell everyone about this experience. He finally told them to give me my money back, I’m finished going to this store again. I will be writing a formal complaint about this. BEWARE

I feel robbed. Please be extremely cautious when using your credit card in this store. I had a horrible experience when visiting the Lowe’s foods in Greensboro over the weekend (Location 155 - Oak Ridge). Upon checking out after grocery shopping, I attempted to swipe my card which was supposedly declined. Immediately the cashier called the Customer service rep over who asked for my zip code, then informed me my card did not match and to swipe again. I swiped a second time and the same thing, which was confusing because the only zip code that could be associated with my card is what I provided. I used another card, and completed the order successfully. However when I returned home, to my surprise, my card (the declined one) had been deducted twice in the amount of $210.86 equaling $421.72 total. I called my card company and they advised me to settle with the store to reverse and refund the incorrect transaction. Well, I traveled back to the store where they were extremely rude, not concerned and told me that nothing had been deducted on their end. Well my receipt as well as my account clearly stated 2 identical completed transactions. They asked me to wait a couple of days to see if it would show in my account. They never apologized not once and acted as if they did nothing wrong; as if I was at fault. It has been several days and I have yet to see a refund. My account still says 2 completed separate transactions of $210.86. I’m appalled at the way they’ve handled this. I understand the timing of returned activity yet they took no time in deducting my funds. Why can’t I just get my money back??. This is absurd. I usually don’t like writing negative reviews but I wanted to warn others.

I am very disappointed, in the casual way all the Lowe’s food stores, are handling the Covid 19 pandemic. The disinfecting of the carts, is a joke. Lowe’s foods should take a look at how Costco is addressing, this serious situation. I am very upset at the casual way, Lowe’s food corporation is dealing with this. The barrier at the cash registers are great for the cashiers. How about the handles on the freezer areas? The deli area? If the person at the front , supposedly, disinfecting carts, even if she is wearing gloves does no good when she continues to touch all the carts with contaminated hands. Please take a serious look at Costco or contact the N.C. department of health for their recommendations. I will look forward, to seeing changes in our stores.Sally
