Upon waiting past the promise of a repair date, I called the store today which is the second day in a row. Jan answered and immediately I could sense she’s must be having a bad day! She got upset after telling her that what she said was told to me yesterday and never followed up on. She completely cut me off saying I don’t know what they told u yesterday. When I say if I didn’t have to be at work I would have come to the store and addressed her myself. I let her finish her hateful phone etiquette to a customer ( ME) I paused and begin to speak again telling her I didn’t appreciate the way she was delivering her message and she was like we are busy and hung the phone up! If RUDE was a person, if POOR communication skills was a person, if poor PHONE etiquette was a person, Jan it would be you! I’ll call and speak to a manager soon!

I ordered a set of earrings and when they arrived the packaging was sub-par and, I'm assuming, resulted in all the stones being damaged. I called this store, told them the issue, and asked them to order a set so I could come in and exchange them. They said I had to either order, and pay for, a new pair to be shipped to the store (which could also come damaged) and then I could return the old pair or make two trips to the store, once to return the old pair and order a new and a second trip to pick up the new pair. Both of these options are unacceptable and add unnecessary burden to the customer when their company made the mistake. It is outrageous that I am expected to jump through hoops when a company cuts corners to, presumably, save money on packaging. Customer service is very important to me and Kay really dropped the ball on this. I will be buying jewelry for my wife at a different establishment moving forward.

I went to the location inside of Hanes Mall, in Winston-Salem, NC. I was greeted and helped by Patty. She was very helpful, friendly and professional. Helped me find a good watch for my father.

I am upset with Kay Jewelry because after paying the card off and not using it for a while, they chose to close my account and wanted me to reapply for another card. How unprofessional is this. No I don’t want to reapply!!!
