DO NOT take your vehicle here! They over price the labor. Estimated time was 4 to 5 weeks for a transmission rebuild it only took a few days but was charged for a few weeks of work. After paying 4500$, I went to leave and discovered my catalitic converter had been cut off while in their care. They would not replace the missing part. They told me while the vehicle is on their lot, they are not responsible for anything that happens to it. When I take a vehicle somewhere to be fixed and spend that kind of money, I expect to get a working vehicle back. Now I have to spend more money to fix what happened WHILE in their care. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE !

When I called for a quote, transmission rebuild, I was told 1 price then when I brought it in for the work, I was told a different price and I accepted that maybe the quote was wrong, then when I picked it up it was a different amount.....if you are quoting a price it should automatically have tax included. And then they told me 4-5 weeks, wasn't done until more a little over 6 weeks. I spoke with someone over the phone to let know of other expenses, my rental-which wasn't cheap, that I occured while waiting for my vehicle. They said we will talk when you pick up. Nothing said or done, and I should not have to bring it up, instead the business should have offered a gester and they offered no discount or anything, I shouldn't have to ask when the company is in the wrong. The work they do might be great, but with the lack of follow thru of timeline and price difference......don't go here unless!!!! Waste of time and money(due to additional cost-rental and price difference)

Be SURE to get a second opinion and another opinion if you go to L&R 1st. We did.
Needless to say the opinions and diagnosis were VASTLY different between the two shops.
One shop wanted to charge several thousand dollars and another shop indicated no repair was necessary.
Meanwhile, the car is driving perfectly fine with zero transmission issues a few thousand miles later.

I give 5 stars due to their honesty about my 2002 Honda Odyssey. No service was done after they tested it and drove it. There is a problem with the transmission, but it never showed up. There was no charge for testing my van. I found the employees that I spoke to very courteous and helpful. When I have any further trouble with my transmission I will certainly bring my van back to L&R. Thanks for being upfront with me fellows. Dan Yarbrough

Took my car in since we thought I needed my transmission flushed. They advised it probably won't be a good idea due to how bad my transmission was currently. It would do more damage that good.I really appreciate how honest they were and also didn't take that long for them to look over my car. Setting up an apt was very easy as well. Definitely once we get another vehicle if I ever have any issues this is the place we will be taking it.
All the employees were very friendly as well. They also didn't charge for them to look at it

Had an issue with my Ram 2500, the codes said it was electrical. Needed a shop that could diagnose it, & tell me what it needed.
L&R did exactly that. As with transmission work, it wasn't cheap --- but they didn't try to convince me to spend 5 - 8k for a full rebuild, neither.
I left satisfied.

I was told my transmission was leaking, so I took it to L&R. They took a look at it and discovered the leak wasn't the transmission. They didn't charge me for the diagnosis and were extremely cordial. Be aware that they are very busy because of their reputation and repairs can take a month.

L & R rebuilt our Silverado transmission and the truck has driven like a dream. While under warranty, we had a little glitch with transmission and the quickly assessed and repaired the issue. Highly recommend.
