Absolutely awful service. No words can explain how bad their attitudes were. It's like they think they're cool working as grown ups at a hat store and can't help anyone but their friends. I aspired to work for lids as well when I was 13.

Obviously this store has a problem being open when it should. I have been 3 times in the last two days and it is never open. Lidz shouldn’t be surprised that people turn to buying on the internet. Gas isn’t free.

My family and I got the worst customer service here. We asked if they could check to see if they had a size in this hat that was high up. One of the employees didn’t even bother checking when he said no we don’t have that size in that hat. We said okay. We asked for another size in a totally different hat that was also high up (they had like 20 hats) he didn’t check again before saying he didn’t have it. We asked him to check the first hat we asked for and miraculously the size we wanted was up there. I found it very rude and lazy that he didn’t even bother checking before he dismissed us and said they didn’t have it.

It's hard to find a good embroidery. For my business I have baseball caps made with a saying. Well, I brought in a previous hat I had made here and said, I'd like another. The girl said no problem, took my money and said 30 minutes. When I showed up she said, how's this we didn't have the same font? What was I going to say? The font really wasn't a problem but the letters not being in a straight line wasn't very good. I need to find another place to have these made.

On 11/03/2021 my boss commissioned me to produce a sample hat with company name and logo for a future meeting on 11/17/021. So I researched my options and I come across with Lids store 5061 on Hanes Mall in Winston Salem , same day placed a visit to the store to find out the process and if I had enough time to get what I need, they explained to me I have to pay $25.00 + taxes to send out logo for digitalization and after approved it will be just the matter to put it on the hat I want. the sales representative that day told me the digitalization takes about two days and depending on demand hat can be done in a day or two. So, it sounds like I have enough time to get ready before the meeting, then I proceed with the payment. On Friday 11/05/2021 submitted the sample logo to the store for approval, as normal business I was expecting at least a confirmation they received information requested but nothing. But Monday 11/08/2021 after not hearing anything from the store, I called and male by the name D'Angelo answered and confirm the have it but is not being return yet, Ok, I said to him. Tuesday goes bye and on Wednesday after another day of silence decided to visit the store again to found out what is going on, at the store, D'angelo was not there and the sales rep call him in front of me, and he said logo hadn't returned yet and will check first time in the morning (Thursday 11/11/2021) and will get with me to let me know the status. well Thursday goes bye and by the end of the day called again the store, and I spoke to D'Angelo with the surprise that D'Angelo said the could not find my logo and asked me if I can re-submitted, at that point I realized, my Hat is not going to be ready for 11/17/2021 and I told D'angelo that we were running out of time but he insisted and re-submitted and request approval ASAP, by the time we finished talking he said, he found my original submissions and he will used. Here we are on 11/12/2021 it is around lunch time and no signs of D'Angelo, So I went to the store and in absence of D'Angelo the sales rep. told me logo had been submitted and will be approved in about two days. At this point told girl is not going to work for me, so I asked for refund which she processed. All I can say is Thank you so much for me look so incompetent with my boss, definitely this is a store that I will not recommend to anyone.

Just bought a hat here, and shouldn't have. It has a sticker on it that says $24.99. It rang up $31.99. I immediately pointed out the mistake, but cashier's answer was, "They raised the prices." She didn't care the hat was marked differently. If the prices went up, at least take the stickers off the hats. I always liked Lids, now I don't.
