I hate airing dirty laundry in public! I entered M&F Bank yesterday to take care of business involving my mother's account, and exited the establishment feeling as though I came to steal something from her. The bank's manager, who did not come out his office, held a discussion via phone with the employee who was assisting me by speaking so loudly I could hear everything he said from the room he remained in. The bank manager could have and should have spoken directly to me. I appreciate the concerns shown regarding my mother's welfare, but the bank does not take care of my mother. That responsibility has been placed on me. Although the bank was not busy, I was told I would receive a call when the bank completed the required paperwork re: my mother's account. I was also asked to keep in mind that tomorrow, day of this post, is the 1st of the month. I guess the wait is to allow the bank the time it needs to investigate me. I do not steal! Even if I was a thief, I would not steal from my mother!

I had the best interaction with the manager of the bank. Karen Polite you and your staff are great. I am excited about the opportunity to do business with M&F because of your take care of customers positive attitude. And by the way, the artwork in your office is awesome.

I have been a member of this bank for over 3 years now, and they are horrible. I have experienced the absolute worse customer service the entire time. The branch managers all have way to much attitude and are not professional at all. That is for the old one and the new one. You can tell by there tone of voice that it is not going to be a pleasant experience, as soon as you get them on the phone. It saddens me because it is a black owned bank and I wanted to stick it out, however I can't keep giving opportunities to an ungrateful establishment. I pray in the future they would realize that customer service is very important and everyone deserves respect, no matter how big or small their account balance is!

Slow transaction times. Deposited check with mobile app due to the branch ATM being out of service. Website state 2 business days for check to clear. In all actuality after speaking with bank staff it will actually take 6 days.
