Om Indian Groceries is a gem! Their store is well-stocked with authentic products, making my cooking a breeze. The staff is incredibly helpful, guiding me to exactly what I need. Whether it's spices or snacks, they have it all. So grateful for this local Indian grocery store!

They have this weird minimum $10 rule if they have to accept credit/debit card. I came twice the same day, the first time it was $19 and I wanted to purchase something that I forgot. They asked me to buy more than I require when the bill came to $4. This place sucks, they should take this annoying rule away. 1/5

I am new to the area so went to get a few things. I found the prices to be high as compared to many Indian stores ( but I have not seen other stores locally). I think you should have more organization and have prices on items. It’s annoying to ask every time. They had a decent variety of frozen foods and snacks. If I have no other choice I will shop here but hoping I find a better Indian grocery store. Otherwise I may have to just make a trip to Charlotte to the Patel brothers there.

I have to have tunnel vision walking through this grocery, as I love Indian snacks, teas, spices and chutneys. It's a small spot but they really pack it in with a large selection! I love when Lace makes a curry or tikka masala dish using ingredients from here. Tastes even better than some of the restaurants!

I was happy to find an Indian store in Winston to find items like I would back home, but disappointed with the lack of organization and expired items. I gave the store a few visits before writing this review and every time I went, there were boxes in aisles with unpacked items and expired food. I even pointed out to the guy there that a few items were expired and he didn’t seem to care… in-fact he put something I pointed out that expired 2 months ago right back in the freezer. It makes me sad that one of only 2 stores in the city that represents our culture operates like this.

⚠️The Act Of Discrimination ‼️⚠️I gave it a two star because this place sure carry variety of products from Asia, that’s the reason why the Karenni people has been shopping there regularly before the two Karenni store opened up in Winston-Salem.Every single time the clerk/owner see an Asian person walking into the store, he’d ask if we’re from “Thailand” and then complain about us no longer being regular. I was at Walmart today and I figured I’d stopped by since it’s nearby and this man asked if the product I purchase wasn’t available at the other Asia store from “the Thailand people” and told me he will only sell me a limited amount of product ?♀️Go shop at Grace Kayah Asia Market or the Thanlwin Asia Market. These store sells variety. You’ll find almost everything from Thailand and Myanmar. And to this Indian store,I wish you the best of luck. You are the reason you lost your customer, you can’t blame other business owner.

For all your Indian needs and much more, this is the place to come. Spices, frozen parathas, dals, snacks, fresh veggies, cookies, etc. EXTREMELY helpful staff. I like to encourage local stores.
