Hours: Rainbow Laundry is a 24/7 laundromat with lots of machines that are clean and work well. The dryers are efficient, drying a full load in about 20 minutes, and everything usually works as expected. The daytime attendant is very sweet and works hard to keep the place clean. However, the business has no laundry carts for moving laundry because people steal them. Some dryers and washing machines need fixing, and the store needs more baskets for customers. The facility can stay pretty dirty, with puddles of water on the floor sometimes. At night, it clears out but may have some people doing mildly crazy stuff, and in winter it becomes a refuge for local homeless people. The change machines are occasionally broken. Despite these issues, the machines serve their purpose for the community, offering a $2 cold wash. It is not the cleanest place, but everything works, which takes a lot of stress off customers needing to do laundry.
