The employees were so helpful that were there but the store manager, Maria, was beyond rude and condescending! If I go back there I’ll make sure Maria isn’t there or I’ll take my business elsewhere bc she was awful.

I have been to this store couple of time and always have good experience. But today was the worst experience ever. I enter the store i was looking for some dior lipstick and hopping some one would come and help me there are 3 employees were just standing and keep looking at me but none of them came fwd and ask me if I need any help or if I am looking for anything. I was in the store for almost 15 to 20 min no one help me. I left without buying anything. I'll never visit this location again!

I’ve gone back to this store several times, always hoping I’ll have a better experience than the previous visit, yet every time I leave disappointed. Every other Sephora store I’ve been to up and down the east coast, has been wonderful except this one. Unfortunately this is the closest to where I live. The problem? Rude employees. I admit, I’m not exactly the target demographic for Sephora…I’m 45 and showing my age, but I still adore the art of makeup and love exploring new fragrances. Sadly, at this store, they always make me feel out of my element. This past time was the last for me. I was looking for a perfume and the associate kept pronouncing a particular design house’s name incorrectly. I initially confused what she was talking about, then it dawned on me what she was trying to say, and I m casually said “oh you mean _______.”. I didn’t mean to make her feel awkward, so I went on to say “Trust me girl I used to say it wrong too, the only reason I know it is from when I interned there back in the day”. If looks could kill, I would be DEAD. I excused myself and went back to testing perfumes solo. A little while later I asked that same employee if they carried a new(ish) perfume brand. She kept saying “what? How do you say it? WHAT?” After I repeated myself 3 or 4 times, I realized she was trolling me, so I bowed out, gave up, and went to the counter to pay for the makeup items in my basket (I have to give her credit, she got me good?). Suddenly, there was NO ONE in sight to ring me up, despite there being several gals behind the counter only moments before, and the store wasn’t busy at ALL. I sat my things down and left. I’ll never go back to this store…I’ll order online from now on or drive to Greensboro…I am done driving over an hour to get treated like garbage by immature employees.

Daniela helped me in the Hanes Mall store, Winston-Salem. Thanks so much Daniela. I really appreciate the time and professionalism today. Associates like you are why I continue to shop at Sephora. Well done and Happy Holidays.

I went into Sephora on Aug 3 at 5:45pm. The first employee, a young African American man in designer glasses (I believe named TJ), was extremely helpful and professional and helped me pick out a new product. He was a wonderful employee and I wish there were more people in the world like him. The problem occurred when I went to the check out desk. A woman with dark hair and Caucasian completion covered in glitter was extremely unprofessional and rude during the checkout process. I asked if I could redeem my birthday gift and was advised multiples times that I needed to do so in my birthday month. I told the employee I was under doctor orders to not leave the house during my birthday month due to a miscarriage I had to which the employee just restated the policy again and then said, “you can always order online.” This woman was callous and uncaring about her customers’ lives given my personal situation. I will not be shopping at Sephora in the future due to this one employee. Reading reviews online of this store, it appears that this same woman as been working there for many years, and I do not understand why a company would want to keep such a horrible employee as their customer-facing representative.I did receive a call from the main manager, Maria, and she offered her deepest condolences for my personal situation as well as my interaction with the employee in the store and stated that the situation should have been handled differently and would be addressed with the employee. Maria was very polite, professional, and understanding about the situation and offered me some additional sample products which I declined by advising her that I will not be coming into the store again. I appreciate her management of the situation and do hope the individual employee is able to improve her emotional intelligent in customer-facing situations.
