“I love this place! There’s so much to look at and enjoy and everyone is so kind and welcoming. I left with a bat skeleton, jellyfish earrings, and a rear view mirror accessory. ??”
“These gentlemen know their antiques! They have been so kind to us over the years, and every trip into the store is a joy. We have added the most unique pieces to our collection from this shop from a giant titanic poster, many prints from their vast collection, and one of a kind books. They are happy to share their knowledge and expertise.”
“Unique shop full of great vintage clothes and other vintage items, handmade jewelry, art, t-shirts, fun socks, & unusual gifts. Allow yourself time because there is a lot to see!”

“This is my first time selling my clothes to uptown . I love the experiences, and Chelsea is very nice person. She makes me feel comfortable shop there . I definitely will be back there again.”
“If you passing through Winston Salem this is a must stop. They have the best selection of curated home goods with unique pieces. I love the staff just as much as I love the store. Each time I walk through the store each booth has at least one thing I want to take home with me. This place is a real treat to visit!”
“The most excellent consignment store around. Well run with friendly people and lots of fabulous merchandise. I go very often, because you never know what great things you will find!”
“Great store with great clothing, shoes, furniture and home goods. The music and atmosphere was so fun, found many items to buy and already want to go back! On top of all that, Ruby was the most awesome person loving what she does and loving life. Ruby is the real treasure at the snob shop !!! We will be shopping online as Ruby suggested and either request delivery or we may just need to come back to Winston Salem. Please thank Ruby for us and hopefully she is valued for being her best self...

“Very cute boutique. I found a few keepers at a reasonable price! Right now there's some construction that has shut down the front entrance, so the only way to get in is through the back, which I don't think is wheelchair accessible. My only other complaint was that the dressing room felt very exposed, it's a set of swinging doors in the corner that only really cover your midsection, and as a taller person I felt like I had to crouch a bit. As for the clothes themselves, they're definitely more from an older crowd, so not trendy, but high quality and affordable.”
“When I was 18, I used to drive by this little antique place everyday and stop and get a hot-dog. I used to love the smell, all the little things, and jsut the atmophere, this little store was a great idea of what the city of Bangor was. This store is a great example of what Winston-Salem is; its a hidden gem. Amazing Customer Service, great prices, and a wide variety of items and art. When you come in here, you realize you are home. This is one of those places where you realize you want something that fit's just right and you don't know where to go. I have goten everything from a dresser, to a fish bowl, to a dog cage, to art, to even little coloring books. They have a cute little dog game where your kids can win a prize and an awesome reward program where you save a ton of money just by giving your email. We got a huge dog cage for 1/2 the price and our dog just loves it. Shop local!”
“AMAZING prices! I found these cool clown figurines that were 4 for $1 and some antique mason jars. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. It's a unique experience checking out their antiques, collectibles, and random stuff!”
“This is a hidden gem! Definitely a throwback to what consignment is supposed to be! The prices are very reasonable, and have the receding cost system… The longer some thing is there, the cost goes down. Love that system! The person that was working was very pleasant and helpful. Just a great feel to the shop, and we will go back!”
“I visited the Winston Salem store to look into selling a couple of pairs of shoes. I ended up purchasing a few things while I was there. Sydney was nice and super helpful, showing me where to find things and taking things to a dressing room so I didn't have to lug them around the store. Meeghan was also very nice at the register. Customer service here is top notch!”
“Theo was AMAZING! Helped me and my mom find the perfect bike, bike locks, and even found a bike rack that would fit our car. He went above and beyond to provide great customer service.”
“Parking is now $1.
The good hotdog guy seems to not be there anymore. :(?
The cantina seems to be more busy plus they seem to be doing some kind of margarita? I'll investigate further next time. ;)
There is a nice fresh food market out front. Peppers and fruit! Nice people.”
“Angela was such a wonderful help! Greeted with a smile and kept the energy throughout helping me sell some shoes. It was my first time selling at Plato's Closet and will be doing so again for sure!”
“This retailer launched as a consigner a few years ago. It came recommended when we were looking for attire for a themed event. The vibe was excellent, selections were great and the owner's service was superb. Highly recommend!”
