“I would like to give a a sincere thank you to the staff at Mt. Tabor animal hospital, particularly Dr. Kristi Mason. This week my wife and I had to say goodbye to our beloved friend Professor. We knew it was coming, but did not anticipate we would have to say goodbye during that visit. In what was a devastating moment for my wife and I, Dr. Mason showed us nothing but compassion and patience as we made our difficult decision. We did not feel rushed during the process and were given time to say goodbye on our terms. The way Dr. Mason handled everything allowed Professor to remain calm and allowed my wife and I to spend our final moments with him in a loving and calm atmosphere. Thank you Dr. Mason for showing that even in a difficult moment, a positive interaction can be had that left a lasting positive impression for both my wife and I. Thank you again and thank you for everything over the years.”

“I have a very ornery shiba inu. Which means I tend to want to avoid vet visits. They are stressful for him and myself. I’ve been going to this clinic since I moved to Winston Salem about four years ago and they have always been so patient. We relied on at home oral sedation before vet visits, then would need to completely sedate him on site. But now we just need the at home sedation and they can handle him with relative ease in house. And to say this is all a big sigh of relief is an understatement. Shiro is my boy and it always worries me taking him to places that can lead to “bad” behaviors. But the staff at midway animal clinic have always been so caring and I am never afraid of leaving him in their care. I have since moved to the very north most area of Winston Salem and wanted to look into a new vet closer to home but the staff have solidified my trust in them and I will be taking Shiro and my other pets to no other clinic. If you want a compassionate clinic to care for your pets, look no further. These are your guys.”

“Dr Dixon came to the rescue for my horse, Mamzell. She was coughing & breathing 60 breaths/min on occasion. (Asthma/COPD)She had an injection of steroids and oral dosing during allergy/pollen/dusty hay season. Advised more time outdoors for fresh air. She got a carport with sprinklers and is doing much better. Dr Dixon took great care and checked in on us before another follow up visit. He is the Best!! Shalom! Joanna”

She was able to quickly pick up on our doggo's IVDD, previously diagnosed, and gave us a supportive plan. She's been nothing but insanely helpful, compassionate and caring with our pups, and the practice itself is always the best care. Everyone there is fantastic!”
“Emergency vet care is expensive, much like emergency human care. Owning a pet comes with financial responsibility of that pet and I don't think it's fair to blame the vet office because you can't pay for something. That being said - we received compassionate (and extremely costly) care from this hospital and if we have another emergency we will use them again.”

“I absolutely love Ard-Vista! They were always extremely careful with my yorkie who had terrible health issues and a collapsed trachea. They saw us through both of my previous girls' passings and were so respectful of them through the process. Dr. Morrison even sent us heartfelt, handwritten card about how special he could tell our little Piper was to us and how sorry he was for our loss. We now have 3 Maltese. Dr. Gessner is our regular vet and he is extremely patient with me and my 1,000 questions as a constantly anxious dog mom. He always takes great care of my dogs and is very careful during procedures. The entire staff is fantastic and Jessica up front is an angel. I can not say enough good things about them.”

“We took my boyfriend's pit bull there and the hardest part was getting that big dog into the van to get him there. The staff and vet were very good with him and gave him treats the whole time. They drew blood and gave him a shot, but he was so good and he didn't even have to be muzzled. The vet gave a good recommendation for dog food as well.”

From the moment we arrived during an emergency, it was clear that Henry was treated with urgency, expertise, and genuine kindness. The doctors and staff took the time to explain what was happening, walked us through difficult decisions with honesty and empathy, and never once made us feel rushed or unheard.
Although Henry’s condition was ultimately not survivable, we know he received aggressive, thoughtful care and, most importantly, comfort. In the short time he was with us, he became incredibly special to our family, and we are thankful he was surrounded by people who truly cared for him in his final days.
This team made an unimaginably hard experience a little more bearable, and we will always be thankful for that.
