I thought the Lowes Food (not to be confused with Lowes Home Improvement) was a pretty good grocery store. They had a ton of wine and beers to select from as well as a great variety of foods, fruits and veggies and frozen items. The staff was really friendly and they have a free discount card to save extra money.

Y'all are within waking distance of my home. I work at a competitor but sometimes want a little variety =) I walked over while my laundry was washing to get a nice cold soda. Found what I wanted and proceeded to checkout "assistance needed with this transaction" pops up on the screen...the lights flashed and the auto message was said aloud 6 times. There were cashiers with no customers, baggers with no bags and 2 ladies came out from the cash office to help another customer. I waited until the next Uscan opened up, rerang my purchase and left. I will not be back =(

By far the rudest most ghetto store I have EVER been in!!! I will not return. Your associates need some serious customer service training!!

My family and I had been looking forward to our first visit to this store since before it was fully built. Needless to say, we just had our first visit and I do not expect to go again. Disappointed does not begin to describe it. When compared to Aldi, price wise, Aldi wins hands down. When compared to Aldi selection wise, overall, Aldi wins. Lidl does appear to have more organic meats but they aren't priced much less than average markets around town. The store was warm and stick, maybe they avoid AC for money saving? And it smelled stagnant which isn't a scent that makes shopping pleasant. While we found a few good items and their bakery was pretty neat, we just felt disappointed in the overall experience.

As much as I want to love this store, the quality of produce here just doesn't compare to the other grocery stores in the area. I tried to give this store a chance time and time again, yet remained disappointed. The lettuce I purchased at least twice had fruit flies stuck to the packaging and I once found several inside after tearing it apart. I also experienced moldy cheese on several occasions the same day as purchasing. Just be sure to check your food before purchasing (if you can).

I like Lowes and like to shop local. We order on line and don't like the double pull up here versus Harris Teeter. We do like the staff refused tips unlike across the street. However they are equally as high as Fresh Market without the organic choices. Price drives us other places. Plus lack of selection of organic meats! Co op is better for this.

Super clean, huge selection, wide aisles, friendly staff, ample parking, awesome stuff. Prices are high but you can find anything you want!

This is the best grocery store in town. The beer den is incredible. The bakery is delicious. The chocolate bar is delectable. The potato, onion, and tomato bars offer the ability to customize a combo. Produce is always fresh. The staff is always friendly in so many ways.

Beer den is a joke! Do not waste your time, and I mean TIME. waited 5 minutes before anyone even showed up to help, and then spent 10 agonizing minutes while the guy hand washed my clean growler. Will not be coming back here again.

The store is always very clean. The staff is friendly. The produce is fresh. Very good salad bar. And awesome bakery. The only wait they could improve is if they were open later at night.

Wine is divine here! A large section and an employee named Debbie was very helpful at suggesting wines. They also have a 10% off 6 bottles regular discount. The day I was there, it was a 15% discount. Which was already off the sale prices which seemed to be pretty good. Also Debbie let me know that you can purchase wine, and items throughout the store and she will package into a cute gift basket. Will do the same with craft beers, or even food only products! I also purchased some balloons... the primary reason for my visit, and the wine was next door while they were being blown up. Their balloon and flower selection was pretty good and it only took about 10 minutes or so. The clerk in balloons saw I had my hands full and asked one of their employees nearby to help me to my car. It was very appreciated, and I will definitely be back to this store. Good ol customer service still goes a long way!

I love all the new Lowes foods- this location doesn't have a coffee shop- but they do give free coffee samples. It's smaller than the others but the people are still friendly.

Since the renovation I've enjoyed my time at Lowes. Before it was pretty bland and the general spirit was flat. I feel like since they redid the place the employees seem more upbeat. The selection didn't seem to change a whole bunch. I tend to not do most of my major shopping here. It's just down the road from where I live so I usually just get my booze, snacks, and easy dinner supplies from here. The free coffee in the mornings definitely draws me in.

I have seen many advertisements for Lowes Foods Grand Openings and have been wanting to go... Considering I never visited a Lowes prior to their revamp, I can't compare them to what they were but let me say, I LOVE WHAT THEY ARE NOW! So far in NC I have only been to Food Lion, Walmart and Aldi. I have to say, Lowes is by far the BEST! My husband LOVED the Beer Den, making friends with the employee working the Growler station. (Psssss... They let you sample all the beers on tap if you wish to try them! SCORE!) and FYI you don't even need their specific growler, you can use any ol' one you have laying around the house. They'll sanitize it and fill it! We ended up getting a growler of a double IPA. Aside from the growler area, their beer section in general was quite impressive, as was their wine selection!!! Can't wait to go back and browse some more! Their produce department looked amazing and very fresh! Prices seemed slightly higher than others I've seen but for the fresh quality, it is worth it. Like Holly B mentioned, they have a prep station for your veggies. More $ but it'll save you some time when cooking. I walked through their meat dept. too quick and didn't really look closely at it since we had picked up some meat earlier in the day. (Tip: the area was quite chilly- bring a sweatshirt. Haha. I was freezing over there and when I overheard 2 other ladies mention how cold they were, I knew I was going to include it in my review.) All in all, a GREAT supermarket. We will definitely be back! I do need to get their store savings card... They didn't give me the sale price on the acorn squash I bought. :-/

This Lowes is small than the one I normally go to but since the renovation they have really made some nice improvements. The isles are wide and bright. The staff is friendly and helpful.
