Just as other reviewers have stated this credit union has gone down hill completely. There is a total lack of communication and when you finally reach someone complete misinformation. Was told something when I went in person that turned out to be an absolute lie. Then on the phone when I spoke to a different individual they tried every way under the sun to make me out to be a liar, when they created the whole problem because of their lack of information. The person I spoke to was utterly rude and would not let me try to explain anything, very much my way or the high way. After telling them I had recorded our conversations as insurance for what they said to me they became extremely hostile and ceased communication, and claimed they could sue me because this was illegal. MORE MISINFORMATION. This is not true in the state of North Carolina you can legally record someone without their consent only one person has to be aware of the recording aka yourself. Double check everything if you come to this bank, and make sure you have in writing the claims they make before they call you a liar.

Does nothing helpful when you report fraud. Send you a form to fill out then you have to pay to stop the fraudulent charges that you reported. Hell I feel like I been robbed twice.

I had a great experience acquiring a new car loan from WSFCU. First off their rates are much lower than other banks, additionally all of their staff were very professional and friendly. I would totally recommend using WSFCU if able. Special shout outs to Tracie, Raynard, and Cynthia for the great service!

Worst place to work. They have they favorites and customer service is terrible. If they like you can basically get away with everything and if they don’t for whatever reason you’re being pick on for everything.

I have been a member my whole life. The recent interactions have been horrible. I had to make 2 trips due to the lack of communication. Then was treated like it was my fault because she did not fully explain. Even when they help they act like it is a big inconvenience that you are there and lack any type of customer service skills. I have called for questions about services recently and the phone call went unreturned. Then when I called back and she e was so hateful and rude. My emails have even gone unanswered. We moved on to another bank for those services. At this point, it appears we will be shopping for another credit union that can handle all our needs. For a bank that has been in business for over 60 years what a shame that it has gone downhill so badly.

I have maintained banking accounts at WSFCU for many years and like the advantages of banking at a credit union that I can't find at a traditional bank. I've had two occasions requiring financing, and WSFCU had the best rates. My customer service experiences have been positive in person or during phone inquiries. If you're looking for a solid banking experience with a hometown feel and all the financial perks that come with being a credit union member - this is the one!

Great bank. Amazing security. Top notch security. Once your card is used outside of your normal area, they block and stop it. So if you going out of town, call them and let them know ahead of time. So they can make a note. Been using this bank for almost a decade. No complaints here.

I have banked with this place since I was a teenager. First time ever and not to mention I am now in my 40's. Never had my bank account ever been charged fraudulent charges until recently. Well , it just happened , the phone representative was rude had me to drive down there just to say, there was nothing they could do!!! So, today I'm going back, Just to file a fraudulent report and oh yeah....withdraw all my funds!!! It's been a great ride but this establishment is the worst now!!! Almost 30yrs a customer!!! WSCEFCU....y'all need to do better!!! Staff so rude and unprofessional , except for that one nice teller with the Caribbean accent!!! Super nice!!

Been a member for over a decade and I must say this bank has tremendously declined. There’s been a few compromises with my account. Then the staff don’t communicate with each other and please don’t think you will be able to talk to anyone when it’s necessary. It just don’t give financial institution vibes. More like cash app customer service. Had to switch all my money over to another credit union while still waiting on someone to contact me back. Very Ghetto here… do not recommend.

Sorry to say when calling the branch for help it's always hours and hours of a wait. I call that actually being inconsiderate of your customers. They got this new online services and it's not what they thought. Not sure whether or not they realize, but it's aggregating

Been a member since 99 wouldn’t give me a car loan and now having issues with my direct deposit coming in on time and it’s there error. I’m updating this from last year and now for about the 5th time I can’t get my money on time and of course member services are closed. This is the worst place to bank.

Always received great customer service. Friendly place and enjoy banking with this establishment.
