I am giving 3 stars on my review for winston self storage. I am renting a temp controlled unit and the facility is very nice seems brand new but i have to say im disappointed with the billing. I signed up on a christmas special for a 10x15 unit and my payments should be 60 dollars for the first 3 months per our contract/agreement. Somehow i just paid 90 dollars for my second month. i also was told that i could avoid payment fees by paying online yet the just charged me 10 dollars to pay online. While their facilities are nice it seems like there are issues with them keeping their word regarding paments and billing. If they correct these issues i will come back and update my review.
Update: even though they are raising my rent they did reach out to resolve it. They offered me a discount on my next month and a delay of the rent increase i think that is fair and am raising my review back to 4 stars

It was easy experience I was expecting to pull up and have to talk to somebody in the office, but when I pulled up to the gate I had to scan the code make an account pick what size unit I wanted, made payment. Less than 5 minutes I had my unit first month for a 1$ and I picked the climate controlled inside unit which was a nice cool break, after a hot sweaty day of moving!
But before that I spent 15 minutes driving to find a good lock to put on my unit, and when we got to the unit we took the yellow tag off the door and they give you a brand new lock inside the unit which is very nice because that lock was a lot better than the one I found, lol. Thank you. It was very easy transaction you can get a unit under 5 minutes and be thru the gate and packing that storage unit full quickly, I highly recommend him...

Simple over the phone sign-up process with friendly and helpful booking agent Patricia Aguiran. Very good rates. Site under site expansion fall of 2024 which makes maneuvering a bit difficult but that should resolve soon. Clean dry space and key-code access-controlled site. Very nice storage solution!
