Use to love the Firetower office in Winterville n.c the tellers are always very. friendly but the management needs to have better knowledge of banking rules & regulations I was told I couldn't get a loan on my signature or borrow against my own money but thanks to Wendy in the uptown office I found out you can do both, Truist please get some loan officers and a manager that knows whats going on!!

Went to the bank in Winterville and there was only one teller working both lobby and drive-thru. After waiting in line for about 20 minutes the system crashed and the teller was no longer able to provide service. Being short staffed has somewhat become a norm for this branch. I'm not a fan of this merger. We need BB&T back!

Branch leader Zack was so unprofessional and being an extension of Truist should be an embarrassment to the company! I will be speaking to friends and associates concerning this matter!

Opened a bank account the night before a big deposit. Unbeknownst to me that the check would take over a week to clear because it’s a “new account”. I understand they have a procedure, but I would have liked to have known this BEFORE they processed the check. I don’t want to be told, “by the way it takes over a week to clear” after the check had been deposited and can’t be undone. Also, eating chips and dip behind the counter is very unprofessional when handling customer’s transactions…just saying. Once the money clears I will decide if I want to move my money to another bank.

My daughter recently attempted to make a withdrawal from her Truist account at this office through the ATM. Customers be very careful! The ATM snatched the money back and she still hasn’t gotten it refunded to her account yet. This transaction was done on December 25, 2021. She was able to file a claim on December 27, 2021. We visited the branch today and we were referred to the claims department again. When we finally got through to the claims department they said that we would have to go back to the branch. I think it’s really sorry for a bank to treat there customers this way! I know for a fact that my daughter works very hard for her money! The fact that they would treat her likes this makes me very angry. If I could give this no stars I would. And Oh yeah, we are still on hold with the sorry claims department!! So far it’s been over an hour!!! Ugh!!! This is really making me rethink my bank choice!!

Had a glitch with a car loan statement. Mitchell Dudley, branch manager, took the time to research the matter and was most helpful . Would defiantly recommend doing business with him.

I closed 1 of 2 checking accounts with BB&T over a month ago. I find out this morning that the 1 checking account was overdrawn $772. They proceed to transfer $772 of our money from the 2nd checking account to cover the 1st overdrawn amount of $772. That account that was overdrawn was supposed to have been closed over a month ago, yet they kept allowing transactions to go thru b/c of their mishap. So, my family is out $772. $468 of that is nothing but fees! I have already submitted my complaint on the Ripoff report, Twitter, & Facebook. And will be telling my entire family and friends to close their accounts with BB&T and I will be withdrawing all of our $$$ by the end of this week and depositing it all back into our Bank of America savings account that we still have open. Rude customer service along with extremely long wait times. What a scam this bank is.
