Go Riverboarding with Kevin! Our group of 12 guys visited Asheville for a bachelor party and this was the highlight of our trip. Kevin was very accommodating and an expert guide on the water.Plan to go through some quick instructions, suit up into a wetsuit/fins/safety gear, walk up a trail, then jump into the water with your board for some fun.I definitely recommend this activity for those who like adventures, trying something new, and spending time outdoors. Our group loved it - Kevin is the man!

FantasticI went Riverboarding with Kevin a few years ago on an secret river. On my first trip we went down class 2-4 rapids and it was not as scary as you would think. When you are in the river there is nothing to fall out of on on to and when you get used to a little water in the face you are comfortable going down class 4 rapids. We also surfed a class 4 wave I lasted about 15 or 20 and it ripped me under and down stream and I couldn’t wait to walk up and do it again. If you are comfortable in water I highly recommend this. I am going up to do it again soon.

I’ve been canoeing, kayaking, and white water rafting, but this was a different experience in itself! Being in the water was so much fun and Kevin did a great job being accommodating to our larger group. He has all the gear and clear on instructions. I highly recommend going Riverboarding if you want to do something different on the water. I’ll definitely be getting back in contact next time I’m in Asheville!

What an amazing experience! My wife surprised me with a river boarding adventure for our mini-moon while exploring Asheville. It was a blast! Kevin was helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant. We had no idea to expect, but Kevin made this a unique and unforgettable experience. 10/10 would recommend!

This was an awesome experience! I didn’t really know what to expect since I have never heard of Riverboarding before. Kevin was great and actually accommodated our trip and opened up time slots for Sunday so that we could do this excursion.Kevin provides all of the necessary equipment from helmets, wet suits, knee pads, shin guards, and the Riverboard. The water was not near as cold as we were expecting due to the wetsuits.I definitely recommend this activity for anyone that enjoys river activities. Both of my parents (mid 50s and active) did it as well and everyone loved it. We will definitely do this again in the future!

Wife and I went last year and had a blast! Although it may look different, I actually felt safer that I do in a kayak. You certainly “go with the flow” and it’s amazing being at water level. It’s obvious that Kevin, our guide, was expert at this sport.

This is an awesome experience for locals and tourists alike! This company was organized and communicative. Not to mention very fairly priced. I went river boarding with Kevin at Appalachian River boarding company last year. I had hardly even heard of the sport but Kevin guided me and provided me and my group with wet suits, kneepads, helmets and lifejackets for a safe adventure. Our experience was a whole lotta fun and couldn’t be replicated. I really hope I can go river boarding again with Kevin as my guide this year.

Not fun at all. The water was disgusting. I got a scratch that got infected and had to go to the doctor- he said it got infected because of the contaminated water I was in. This was my first time river boarding and I was super excited to be doing it, but this experience was terrible and definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. If you decide to go here, please keep in mind that the water is contaminated.
