This brewery sits right on the French Broad River and is beautifully set up. We were in town for our wedding and were looking for a venue for our rehearsal dinner. These guys were so inviting to us and basically gave us complete autonomy is organizing the seating and setting up the food. We had the entire property to do our thing. They were able to organize a ticketing system for our guests to have drinks on our tab. Their beer is really great too and all of our guests were able to find something on the menu that agreed with their preference. It was such a great night and we thank Zillicoah for being a part of our wedding weekend. This is a great place to have a beer in the early evening, during the fall months and color change. The nature is so beautiful to look at.

Great beer (Session Festiv) and an awesome smash burger. Absolutely hit the spot on the tail end of our 50 mile ride. Cool vibe amid outdoor setting. I'll definitely come back!

This place is great! The seating outside is idyllic and the beer is great.

Decent beer and a beautiful outside area right by the river to relax and enjoy it!

My go to brewery in town, in a location that is stunning with enough land to spread out or sit near others and chat, some of the best beers I’ve ever had. The staff is amazing and the owners are lovely people.

Best Czech dark beer we've had since Prague. Nice, low-key beer garden by the river. There was a Filipino bbq truck there that was also yummy. Great way to wrap up our visit to Asheville.

Good beer, good outdoor seating, and good food (pizza and garlic balls).

Unfortunately Zillicoah recently started allowing in children at all times instead of just on Sundays. We were surprised to be greeted by toddlers, strollers, and infants, who took over the whole main section while the various adult-only groups scattered to the quieter seats by the river. It's a shame that this former oasis turned into a daycare like all the other breweries, but the owners likely decided that appeasing parents was better for their bottom line.

No tasters of beer. What's up with that! I was excited about the place, until I walked in and wanted to taste a beer before I bought a pint.

This is hands down the best brewery I’ve ever been to. I’m not sure what black magic they’ve been doing to make this nectar of the gods, but it is amazing. Atmosphere is also a 17 out of 10. Most polite, professional, and expedient staff I’ve seen. This is a finely run establishment and it shows in every facet of Zillicoah.

We absolutely love this place. Any time we're staying in or passing through Asheville, we make sure to stop in for a beer and some tacos on the river before heading home. Hands down some of the best beer I've ever had. Cannot wait to go back.

The food truck was great. Beer was okay. Very different setup. We were carded at the parking lot right when our Uber driver dropped us off. My husband is in his 50s, and I'm in my 40s. Leaving they didn't card any of the drivers. It's just a weird place, but the river location is a great view. Lots of Germany style beers, only one IPA.

Hard to beat the location. Nice selection of several popular and lesser known beer styles.

Stay away…..whoever owns this business has no idea what customers and guests want…..Rules are more important than the guests satisfaction….. it’s not even about the beer,Because they do have a handle on that. They have a guard at a gate to make sure you have no children with you, unlike 98% of other breweries in the area. Do not try to select the glass you wish to drink your beer out of. “ the owners are pretty picky about making sure you drink the beer. You order out of the correct glass“. That from the well informed robot at the bar. We are not drinking $100 Caymus Cabernet.

They don’t offer samples. That’s weak sauce. I heard they used to, but stopped the practice. Unacceptable - especially when you have so much competition. So now they make you commit to buying and if you don’t like it you’re out of luck. And the person serving me defended the practice like it was a badge of honor. I’ll take my business elsewhere. I’ve got 40 other breweries in Asheville to choose from. If I had tasted the one that I ended up buying I would’ve ordered something different. Not that it was a bad beer; it just wasn’t to my liking.
