“Tonight I went into Food Lion and saved thirty dollars using my MVP card and coupons I clipped onto my card on their website. Walking through the store all of their MVP deals have bright tags so I was easily able to find what was on sale. I loaded up on buy one get one free snack crackers. I had to ask where a few things were and the employees were friendly and knew exactly where to find what I was looking for. I didn't have to wait long to check out, and when I did the clerk was friendly and loaded up my grocery bags into my shopping cart. My shopping trip was pleasant and saved more than I expected to!”
“Since moving away, I have to say, I kind of miss Food Lion. It's really a "no frills" grocery store but yet, the smaller "mom and pop" store feels kind of refreshing. I swung in to grab some ice cream for the kiddos. It was around 8:30pm so it was pretty empty. Shelves were fully stocked and I appreciated the numerous options. One of the things I love about Food Lion (vs grocery shopping at Walmart) are the sale items. You can really save some $ if buying items on sale... but their regular priced items might be little more expensive. For instance, the ice cream was 2/$5, regularly $3.39 each. The savings would add up if buying stuff on sale. Not purchased today but I also like the clearance meats. I would scour for the yellow and blue clearance stickers! Meat was always fresh, even on clearance. All the employees were friendly!”
“Newly remodeled and with a new layout. Aisles are laid out neatly and are easy to navigate. Prices are hot and miss depending what is on sale but their sales are usually pretty good. Produce is fresh and when possible, bought from local farms. I like their meat selection, they give you a wide variety of cuts to choose from. The cashiers have always been friendly and helpful. And most importantly, this store is clean and is a pleasure to shop at. I only wish they would carry Utz Salt and Pepper Potato Chips!”

“Omg this store is amazing! First time going in and it was beautiful. The produce setup was beautifully done well. All the veggies and fruits were perfect and full in stock. So much selection. And because I never been in a Harris Teeter store, I just had to go down every isle. The shelves were fully stocked and faced, the isles were free of debris, and the first thing I said to my daughter was omg this is like going towards the light because it was bright. I found so many different things that I have never seen so I just had to buy it to try it. They also had good deals and at check out, I saved $49. Earned points to get a discount off gas. And one of the best parts is that they have electric carts so I can enjoy my shopping. And the employees were nice and even accepting of my dog. And omg the meats look amazing and so many to choose from. Move over Walmart and Foodlion. I think I found my favorite store.”
