I liked the hotel, the sea view is amazing. The glass on the windows was a little dirty. Also, the cups/dishes seemed to be dirty as well. But that's not a big deal. The location is just perfect! Beach access is right there and you can walk on the beach ❤️ very very lovely!

This was my 2nd stay here. Last time was much better. Love the ocean views here and the fact it’s a family oriented facility. Quiet and peaceful. However, the jacuzzi isn’t working after a year of being broken and needs fixed along with the indoor “heated” pool which heat portion of the pool was non existent during my stay. You cant keep advertising amenities when they do not work!!! And pricing should be adjusted DOWN so long as your amenities aren’t working/useable. I was told by staff the reason they haven’t fixed things is because each unit is privately owned and said owners are refusing to pay to fix them. WOW! So maybe if you don’t pay them or pay them in full or reserve some of the money towards repairs you could get your amenities working again. Sounds like a management issue to me. I do know this. I am sick and tired of paying for other people’s issues and mistakes. The other issues were the bedroom tv wasn’t working, no coffee filters provided, the water smells horrible, the freezer in the small refrigerator/freezer doesn’t actually keep anything frozen, I couldn’t get the stove to work, and the floors look like they haven’t been mopped in a looong while. Also, the restaurant charges an astronomical amount for their mediocre at best food. I ordered a mango smoothie and paid close to $10 for it and got mango drink mix mixed with ice. That’s called a slushie not a smoothie and definitely not worth $10. Also, the 2 egg breakfast with the “smoothie” cost me over $35. Got “toast” that was just warmed up bread, not even slightly toasted, a very small serving of grits, 2 pcs of bacon and scrambled eggs. Waaaay overpriced!!! This place could be so much better than it is. I won’t be back!!!

Courtney at the Front Desk is an wonderful person to to encounter. She helped us book at a better price, than I found online, and remembered us when we came in. Courtney gave incredible advice on things to do near by and really made our stay above and beyond. We loved the jacuzzi and waking up seeing the waves outside our window. We brought a bottle of water to brush our teeth, because the water is smelly (like Florida swamps) and gives unsafe vibes. The hotel, itself is refreshing and really nice. Some things that could have had some attention to detail to be cleaned or spruced up, but overall, very pleasant inside rooms. Some damage is just from being seaside and to be expected overtime.

We had a fabulous experience for my daughter's birthday with friends!Service: superb! The key I think was calling beforehand and asking for one of the more updated rooms. We were so lucky to talk to Sky who was so PHENOMENAL! ? She added notes about our situation and requests. She shared ideas for food nearby (K-38 Baja grill and the ice cream shop beside it) and Bourney's bakery in Mayfaire. Both were the bomb! She doesn't normally work the reservations but she should train everyone on top notch customer service! Then there was the gentleman who actually assigns rooms! He did a superb job fulfilling our request of a high floor updated corner unit which was awesome! The views were unbeatable and we only had people on one side of us (which is great because it is a pretty loud with slamming doors etc - that's just people). Then there was Trinity. She saw the note about it being my daughter's birthday and made her a very sweet and thoughtful card. ? And since our room was ready, they let us check in early. You don't get that kind of personal service and welcome at Holiday Inn -just saying!Accomodations: Read the reviews and knew all units are different so definitely smart to call and try to get an upgraded room. Even our upgraded room had issues, peeling paint, ceiling, frozen freezer, leaking window, weird AC, broken balcony chair but it didn't let it hamper our experience. I agree with everyone else that they should probably find a housekeeping manager who is serious about cleanliness! We found trash in bedroom and living room and the coffee table was dirty and sticky. And they should upgrade the basic toiletries. The beds were hard. (We took a nap when we got home.) The TV in the living room was good, the one in the bedroom where the girls were couldn't connect to Netflix or anything like that. The very worst was the dirty floors. Not just sandy but filthy. My feet were black and I regretted not bringing socks or slides. ?Food: Upon arrival, the girls were starving so I ordered from the restaurant and while yes overpriced we paid for convenience. I was able to run down and get chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks. Both were good, fries not so much and they add in 20% even for a pickup but it kept me from having to run back out so win.Pool: We booked here for the location, suite setup, and indoor pool/jacuzzi. The pool was okay, didn't feel amazingly clean either, was dark and hard to really tell. Just didn't get a super clean pool vibe. Hopefully had enough chlorine to kill anything. Water was on the cool side, girls were shivering. Went out to the hot tub and while hot, jets weren't working so more like a hot bath than Jacuzzi. Apparently they havent worked in over a year! Guys, fix this.Parking: $10 okay, dark narrow but covered was nice.Beach: Access was great, views spectacular!Location: secluded on the end of the island was great with views of both sound and ocean from walkways and elevators.Overall: We were treated like welcomed family and had an amazing experience! It was a win-win-win with the kids and I would definitely stay again!

Some of the rooms are set up very awkwardly. No door on the bathroom. Great location though.

The only thing I didn't like was the water tastes and smells like sulfur. Everything else was top notch, loved the room, tiny little suite was perfect! Views for miles!

The jacuzzi was not bubbling. The elevator was not working & the restaurant was closed on Sat.I know these things do happen but instead of saying I'm sorry, lower the rate for inconvenience & not having the all inclusive packing you

My wife and I have stayed there 5 times and when we go back to the beach, we’ll staying there again without any doubt. It’s also a great place for a family or couple getaway. The location in my opinion is the BEST location on Wrightsville Beach. All the Rooms have beach front views and the amenities are all there including the peer, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a nice restaurant and Bar. It is also convenient to other great dining areas within 5-10 minutes.Rooms: Our suite has always been great and can easily sleep 4 people without any problem. Has a Bedroom, 2 baths, kitchen, living and dining area with balcony.Nearby activities: Dining, Swimming, Aquarium and the city of Wilmington.Safety: It has an all covered parking deck and we’ve never had a problem with security.,Walkability: The beach is right in front of the hotel, you can walk to dining within 10 minutes if you want to leave your vehicle at the hotel so you don’t have to pay and fight for a parking spot.Food & drinks: Simple menu but the food is always good. There is a Bar but it’s not a club.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Upon arrival it took a hour to check on after working all day and being tired. The manger tried to say she upgraded our room for that, but let me tell you if that was a upgrade I would hate to see what my original room looked like. The beds were harder than the beds the Flintstones slept on. On top of that they had plywood under the mattress, which made it even more uncomfortable. So we tried to take the sofa bed mattress and lay it on top and it was a dead bed bug under it. Under The living room TV did not work had to call the front desk and maintenance man came to look at it. One of the toilet was stopped up upon arrival my husband fixed it and continued to clogged up. The floor under the beds had trash all ovee them where they haven't been cleaned. I tried calling them multiple of times and the manger refuses to call me back or get on the phone. So after working hard all day and to come to your room without any good sleeping conditions really sucked.Nearby activities: Good food

She'll Island resort was a nice family friendly stay. Inside and outside pools, hot tub outside. Nice walkways to beach . Elevators were nice. Staff was very friendly and professional. Beautiful sunrise, and the kids loved all the seashells. Small fridge in room, and freezer very small not big enough for anything but ice trays. Loved the regular size coffee pot. Comfy beds, nice balcony . Liked the fact there was a bathroom with sik and toilet then another one with bathtub ,sink and toilet.Would recommend for a family stay. There is also a restaurant, laundry room coin laundry, and gym.
