“We hosted my son's rehearsal dinner here and everything was done very professionally. Food and service were excellent. We have also dined here as guests a number of times and it has always been very good.”

“What a great location. The beach is wide and not crowded at all. The resort is a bit dated, although we opted for the not updated room for a lower cost. It was clean and comfortable. All rooms are ocean view. Definitely coming back.
The only issue I have is a weird one. They provide a drip coffee maker and a a packet of delicious ground coffee. However the only sugar ( I drink my coffee with sugar) were three of those hotel packs with napkin and stirrer etc. The sugar packets were SO small, even 3 of them didn’t make even 1/2 teaspoon. So I only got one cup (barely) from an entire pot. Spending this kind of money on accommodations, the coffee service should match in quality and quantity. Give us full size sugar packets so we can enjoy the good coffee. Not everyone drinks black coffee. Enough said.”

Editing former review about the pokemon section after a reply from the owner. Ill admit I did not see any sign saying the tins were mystery tins, but that could easily be my mistake. I did see other mystery packs, near the tins, but did not think that applied to the tins since they were in different packages. Either way, ive changed my review from a 3 to a 5 star. I do not want to put a honest small business down for my own mistake. The shop was very busy when I went in and the employees were plenty busy.

“I went for Dawson's Creek, but I thoroughly enjoyed the grounds. As I went in winter, I can only imagine what it looks like in the spring. The bottle chapel and the pergola garden are my favorites.”

“Beautiful place indoor and out. Large open space, beautiful bride suite. Price is okay if you have the money. My suggestion is they should get a grooms suite in the price. They have a conference you could rent for additional price.”

“I photographed a very intimate wedding here last weekend, and was absolutely amazed by their event director, Leann. She was SO helpful in what could have been a stressful situation (it was a very small wedding and the bride didn't have a planner or any bridal party, it was very hot and we definitely needed a spare pair of hands!). Leann was there to hold the flowers, she brought cold water to the bride, brought a chair for the bride, fluffed the dress, held out the veil- she literally was a life saver. I know Figure Eight Island Yacht Club prides themselves on the service they provide, and Leann was proof of that - she had excellent attention to detail and consistently anticipated what the needs of the client were before she was even asked. If I could give 10 stars I would - top tier client care!!”

“The Arab Club is very helpful to to contributing to helping children who have a lot of medical problems fire burns all different kind of problems and I have seen it firsthand with children that have come into the Shriners and the money goes to the hospital to help take care of those kids and they are very blessed to have all these people who are just loving them as much as the shine clothes does”

“From the moment we arrived, we were wow’d by this hotel. Incredible staff! Every staff member we encountered was so friendly. For our anniversary, they gave us a bottle of wine for the room. That was such a thoughtful touch. Rooms were very spacious and clean, loved the LG TV!

Breakfast/coffee was really good and a perfect way to start the day. Pool was a perfect temp! This is the perfect place to stay in Wilmington if you’re wanting to be close to both the beach and the downtown area.

Also, the social hour they have Monday-Wednesday is incredibly well done! Great variety, especially considering it is complimentary. I couldn’t imagine staying elsewhere in Wilmington. Big thank you to the amazing staff and management!”

“Don't store food in the mini fridges. I used to work in restaurants and knew I'd be here for some days so I brought a thermometer to make sure the mini fridges were safe for food storage. No good. The temp of the mini fridges was 49 degrees. That's much too warm to store food.

edit: Agghh! Sorry. I realized I put a 2 on service. The service from the people working there was awesum! That's a 5.”
